  1. So i Cancelled my accs due to not playing that much anymore and I didn't want it to renew automaticly by the end of the month. So when i cancel i get this: Subscription You have 8 days of play time remaining. When your play time runs out, you will no longer be able to play. Please sign up for a recurring subscription plan or redeem a Game Time Code. 8 days? Why did my remaining days get reduced to eight? I payed to nearly the end of July, don't I have the right to use this product until that date(s)?
  2. The fact that swtor only has 2 dps per tank and healer combo makes the dps queues even longer compared to other games, assuming that the amount of overall dpsers is at the same ratio. I got sick and tired of trying to get a group when i started playing the game that must not be named in its vanilla time, so I've rolled healer/tank ever since.
  3. In my 3rd group finder ops for EV, we finally got the first boss down without anyone going rambo or leaving etc. The smuggler gloves drop and 6 people need on it, when I'm the only smuggler. I was like: Screw you guys, I'm going home.
  4. I guess you haven't heard of TES Online with it's 3 faction system. On a serious note though, I highly doubt that they are making a 3rd faction, or even considering it. This would just divide the playerbase even more, possibly reviving the "ghost server, no1 to play with" issues. These "signs" the OP has seen I see as mere lore reasons to implement changes more than anything.
  5. Story mode is the new name for normal mode ops and flashpoints. Generally lower boss difficulty and item quality rewards than the hard mode and nightmare counterparts.
  6. ... Doomy doom? Maybe the sith comes to earth december 21st
  7. Even though some people in here doesn't get what you're saying regarding opportunity theory, I do get it and i agree. A service like this is compared to similar services and what value the services gives us. The vast majority wants value for their money no matter the size of the fee. Keep up the good, educated posts!
  8. Obviously this game isn't for you, if you're having difficulty finding a reason to log in, why sub at all?
  9. OP... you created the thread I was about to create. The communication between Bioware and the community is horrible at times, and these server transfers are the perfect example. They set the expectaions high with their announcement on the 6th of june. It's natural to expect that all transfers would be available that day given the information that was released. Instead They reveal their specific plan after the transfers are even supposed to begin, and even then tehre is no time limit or estimated transferplan or anything, just a "these 8 servers will start off with transfers". I really do believe that Bioware should hire a proffesional in customer relations to sort out these cases of poor communication, and if they have one already they should probably get a new one.
  10. The first boss fight makes alot of people's machines drop by insane amounts. I think its the dust in the air or something, cause if you look down into a corner the fps comes right back up.
  11. Hey where is the poll? I was promised one. Please implement it in this thread asap!
  12. um... This suggestion is kinda... meh. The amount of time it takes to make good end game content is alot. There have been plenty of complaints regarding the lack of end game content, and you think we should cut it all in half so that the two factions only can play half of them for some dillusional lore reason? If you want it that split up, why not just make two games out of it, and skip the interaction with the other faction all together. This suggestion won't happen ever and thank god for that.
  13. I agree that gaming companies in general have shifted towards casual gaming, and more of a "buy more games and play them less" market. It could be argued that it's a product of short term company goals. They need to appeal to people now, to make money within this quarter of a year, instead of making a long term experience that will have possible less people hooked for a longer period. For a good MMO, I'd say that a company that focuses on long term enjoyment and a prolonged gaming experience, with a longer achievement ladder (some would call it grinding, but a good company can make this fun and less of a pain). It is getting more unlikely that games will go this route, as the industry imo is turning more into a "regular" industry with short term goals. On another note, i still believe that a slighty unfinished game and poor communication with the customers and consumers have hurt the sub numbers quite a bit too.
  14. The fact that the only reply i got was a bitter complaint about content that doesn't appeal to someone who appears somewhat spoiled. This forum really is the worst I've seen so far
