That file contains the resolution for the swtor client at the startup not the game itself

Im sorry, but can someone help me. Every time i try to change my resolution in game that popup appears asking me to accept or revert, then for 17 seconds my screen goes black, the warning popup dissapears in the meanwhile and my resolution reverts to what it was! Can someone help me with this, any fix or a way for me to click the popup and the black screen not to appear, or maybe i can set resolution somewhere outside the game in the game folder?
