  1. It has happened fairly often. Like 20 minutes in or less. I rolled back one of my NVIDIA updates cause I dont know if that was the issue. But it still happens. I never had this issue in the past on my computer with this game. Just got back into it and this issue occurs. It can happen while im idle or in game
  2. Hello everyone, hopefully I can get a little help with this. I'm trying to get back into playing but I am having issues with the game crashing and closing on me. I have re-downloaded the game and I have tried deleting the Bitraider file. It performed the verifying scan after I deleted BitRaider. However the game still crashed on me, I have seen some bugs saying to reduce Grass to 1 and I have done that also. If anyone has any tips at all please let me know. I'm an old SWTOR vet trying to dip my toes back into the game

  5. I believe she has 720 because 6, 198 enhancements give 120 accuracy each. Then adding an accuracy augment will bring you to 772
  6. This is probably a long shot because it was a halloween exclusive cartel Item, but anyone who is willing to sell this or know someone who has this please message/mail Dacell. Specifically looking for the head piece
  7. Sorcs and im assuming it would be a madness sorc. Does lots of total dmg output because of all the DoTs that they can spread around in 8man. If I have 4-6 affliction dots out on targets, the damage will add up pretty quickly. Not to mention creeping terror, crushing darkness, and deathfield bonuses for DoTs. Are we over powered, no. In 8v8 there is a slight advantage and people are able to stack their numbers. If there is a decent healer on the opposing team you will see even higher damage numbers because they will just heal over your DoT dmg. Don't always just check the damage that a person does, check their kills and solo kills. If im in an 8v8 alderaan match and can free cast in the middle while defending, you better believe I will have top damage. In a 1v1 you better learn how to kite, and LoS because you can get wrecked pretty easily if you don't play your cards right. I can't imagine a DPS Madness sorc getting too high in the top healing charts unless they are defending a node and doing the whole consumption then Dark Infusion move. The heals taken from DoTs and Deathfield are minimal...until 3.0

Currently this is my AMR profile for my Madness Sorc. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/8b731093-3769-44e9-a97e-fcd7ed9e89cb Now most of you might be thinking, you only have 109.57 accuracy, what a noob. I would say the same thing, why not just toss in an augment to make it 110%? The thing is, in-game my accuracy is 110.57% and my critical is 26.67% (a 1% boost than my AMR profile would suggest) The bonus from my skills/buffs when I hover over it is 5%, and it is 8% for my critical chance. However in the AMR profile it has it at 4% for accuracy and 7% for critical. What I am asking is if other 55 sorcs are seeing the same thing as I am and AMR just has not updated its information or is it something else entirely?
  10. Learn to use both Lightning and Madness. Both can be beneficial depending on the fight. Might not seem like a great answer but in general I have used Madness since they buffed it and i've been putting out a lot of dps, more than lightning. Madness has the benefit of mobility and slightly better survivability which is pretty crucial in raid scenarios. 3/7/36

  12. Yea, getting the mainhand/offhand for Sorcs is a good idea because of the increase in force power. After MH/OH i grab the Brutilizer Relics (both good in PvP and PvE) then upgrade how you see fit. 0
  13. A pure lightning or madness spec would definitely be better for sustained damage. The Hybrid is great while leveling because you can take out multiple enemies at once fairly quickly. For endgame Ops you need your force accuracy to be around 110% which is around 4-5 accuracy pieces. Depending on if you go lightning or Madness the amount of crit you need varies. As lightning I dont have too much, but madness is better with a bit more. After you get your accuracy to 110% you should aim to get power then surge, add critical in as you go and see what your numbers are like.
  14. These changes bring a lot more DPS to sins and sorcs. But I am not sure how the DPS will change in regards to PvE. In PvP this will definitely make sorcs a lot stronger and add a little more burst to the spec. I am a lightning sorc in PvE and it's what I enjoy playing the most between Madness and Lightning. Lightning has become an easier rotation to manage because everything has a proc rate now and is not determined by RNG. Madness has its uses in some fights but I've been able to get by quite well and put out top DPS on certain fights.
  15. I play a lightning sorc for PvE and Madness for PvP but i also dabble in lightning for normal WZs. If you are going to do any sort of ranked matches then you should definitely go Madness. Lightning is probably one of the better add management classes for raiding and such. We can also bring out some pretty hefty single target DPS. But we can bring utility as well. Helping with cleanses or off heals (Mostly cleanses tho, fights like HM/NiM Nefra are a good example)

  18. Do people have an Askmrrobot account. I would like to see how people alotted stats in their gear. Im full Dread Forged with 2 pieces of the new Dread Master gear. I just want to see where I could be better allocating stats.
  19. I would like the AoE Force Storm damage to proc chain lighting like it did in 2.6. Sorcs were probably one of the best classes to deal with Add cleanup in raids. Now I have to time and save my chain lightning procs, it has also made force storm not as effective against adds. I feel like it has lost some of its potency
  20. Im under the impression that Sejv get the conduction buff before he starts the parses so he has more bonus damage at the start. Thats my thought process. Anyways this is my parse http://www.torparse.com/a/644844/7 I hit 3486 on a 1 million HP dummy with the armor Debuff. The rotation really comes down to being able to seamlessly use your abilities so you aren't waiting a long time. Basically you should always be casting something with no downtime. You should know how long your abilities take to cast and if they affect the GCD etc etc. It will take some time to get it perfect and even harder in a PvE encounter The other side to this is the RNG of criticals. Some parses I have gotten over 3500, most are at least 3300. I've taken to running a bit more critical on my sorc. Im at 280 crit rating and I have the 3 points into seeping darkness in the corruption tree. I've seen better numbers with slightly more crit that the most common guides denote.
  21. I should of rephrased that statement, what I meant to say was that it is harder to fit Crushing Darkness into the 2.7 rotation as fluidly as I did in pre 2.7. When I was parsing in the PTS, I noticed that I was using Lightning Barrage far more often. Maybe I am just too used to the pre 2.7 rotation where you basically spam lightning strike until the RNG gives you a proc or TB or CD comes off cooldown. I find myself only using Lightning Strike around 2 times as filler in 2.7 until something procs, when before it was about 3-4 times before something procs or comes off CD. Basically if you time your procs since they both have a 10 second ICD you can pretty much guarantee when your procs will come. Makes it a little harder to fit in CD which now has the longest activation time compared to those instant damage moves. I know CD has it's benefits but the lightning class will be much much faster paced with the removal of the RNG in 2.7. Crushing Darkness is the move that slows down the spec to be honest. I don't use polarity shift and Crushing Darkness together (unless it is on the last second of polarity shift just to get it off quicker) because of the bonus polarity shift gives to forked lightning. I know Crushing Darkness is a move that boosts DPS and has its own benefits to the spec. But like you said until they remove Pushback or give us pushback resistance for this move it is really a hindrance to the spec.

  23. I Think they are addressing the possibility of removing push back from the game altogether. Agreed that the pushback on CD is a pain to handle but we'll just have to deal with it until they figure out what they plan on doing with push back
  24. The only moves in lightning that are not immune to pushback are crushing darkness and force lightning now. They finally gave TB 100% pushback
  25. Thats a solid parse, do you happen to have your build on AskMrRobot or something like that I'd like to get a look at it. Im all 78 gear (working on a couple tweaks) here and there and am trying to see how I can improve it. I'm Parsing around 3300-3400 in the PTS.
