Apologies I must have been misinformed, personally I prefer packaged goods.. However, my understanding that if you bought a DD copy of the game, it was downloaded via Origin (formerly known as EA Store)?

All digital downloads are installed through Origin.

I don't claim to be an expert but I can add some input as follows. 1) FPS issues will not be caused by your networking or the client (i.e. the latest patch). 2) If you are running in the min spec category of system I would recommend ensuring that all non-essential applications are closed, including antivirus. This includes start up programs. Having the firewall up should not have much of an impact. 3) Out of all the systems mentioned my feeling is the problem areas are the GPUs. Ssomeone said 4370 which, if my understanidng is correct, wasnt exactly groundbreaking 2 years ago). I hope this is found useful, if anything is incorrect I hope someone with a better technical knowledge can advise. Good luck.

Yeah I agree, as I'm sure many others will also, that your system is a bit old for SWTOR. I have a core2duo o/s @ 3.2Ghz, a GTX460 (o/c), with 4GB RAM @ 1066 and I'm looking to upgrade because with custom settings my fps drops to around 25 sometimes (some options high some low, some off) - all running at x1080. I would head over to tom's hardware, they've done some benchmarking on swtor. As a guide, I'm lookling at the i5 2500k, with something like a GTX560Ti (2GB). That should play it nice and smooth on high gfx.

I'm also looking for leveling partner(s) to play through the quest content with. I have a level 16 scoundrel on Flames of the Crucible and am a bit fed up of solo content already. If I wanted to play solo content I would play Skyrim! Would like to re-roll, happy to go whatever server/faction, as would like to share/experience the content at the same pace. I have periods of frequent then infrequent activity due to social/work commitments, 29/m/uk - and the MMO experience that comes with being 30 this year... Will drop a few private messages..
