  1. Hi all, I'm not technically new, but I'm returning to the game after a long hiatus, so I'd might as well be. I did previously pre-order the original collector's edition, started off early, and played all the way to level 50. When I came back for the expansion, I took the free boosted character to do the new storyline. Now, I have a new free boosted character if I don't want to keep going with the 65 I have! It's difficult to decide what to do, here. Are there any classes which are particularly needed these days, in general? It's hard to tell as, for the greater part, the game has been single-player for me these days. All of my friends of old are gone, I have no guild, and I've seldom needed any help to get through content. Still, it'd be nice to play with others on account of the whole MMO thing. Does the new expansion address the various classes differently at all, as with the original game, or is it still a single story which doesn't vary according to what you are? That would also be a bit of a deciding factor. Lastly, I am tempted at times to catch my original character up. They have maximum Dark Side Score, so they look properly wicked and all. However, I'm not certain of how long it'd take them to catch up from the original level limit and content as a Sith Juggernaut. Any ideas there? Thanks for your help, all!
  2. I am very much hopeful that the philosophy of 'you can do what you want' holds true, both in design and in the minds of the players. I've played healers before, but that is not why I chose Sage. I wanted a 'wizardly' Jedi, one who primarily does damage through the Force, and this was the closest option. My build is Balance with some Telekinetics and almost no Seer. While I am fully aware that I have a heal button - which I will use when called for - I want to be recruited to groups as DPS. I've had my fill of sitting back and doing heal-heal-heal (not to mention getting blamed when things go wrong). Been doing it since EQ1. Now, it's time to get my Yoda/Kreia/Palpatine/Jolee on.
  3. I registered my CE pre-order November 28. Oh, merciful BioWare, please let today be the day!
  4. Stephen Reid has previously stated that everyone who pre-ordered would get at least one full day of EGA. I won't blame anyone if they're hesitant to take that at face value, however.
