Akaavi has a lot of good AoE, but she isn't a tank. The reason I chose Risha over Akaavi is that Akaavi draws a lot of aggro and seems really squishy.

I'll start by saying Risha and Akaavi both do really good damage. Akaavi tends to die a little more in combat because she rushes all the opponents. Also, I like Risha because I can gear her up with all my hand-me-down equipment.

So I just had a quick question: What smuggler companion do you guys think does the most overall damage? Also, which companion do you think is the best one to level with (both for gunslinger or scoundrel). *If you are concerned with people spoiling the names or abilities of smuggler companions then I wouldn't suggest reading any of the responses to this question.*
