  1. Wasn't 100% sure about that, I left that smoking pile of pvp fotm poo when you still could do full premade vs pug.

You could technically have 2, 5 man premades sign up at once and hope you get into the same BG.

But I guess you could try that in TOR too.

  2. You can always quit and go the that multiple other games that allow full premade team vs pugs. Like WoW? And.... umm....

Are you referring to rated BG's? Because those are premade vs. premade...

Normal BG's can only have a 5 man premade.

  3. He's a healer that has a DoT clear yet he was complaining DoTs were preventing him from capping objectives?

    He's clearly pro...

You're kind of nitpicking at this point. Cure doesn't clear all DoT's, only up to 2 tech/physical effects.

  4. There are ways around not having macros- I personally never used macros, and never will. It's like botting, every kill I get is a kill I stole. Maybe I'm being dramatic but I find it funny that in a super competitive mmo world people want handicaps.

Usually, for PvPers at least, macros are a string of maybe one or two abilities that won't cause a GCD conflict, or just used to take less space on your bars.

For example, having a macro that would stun the person you have targeted when you hit the "E" button, while at the same time, if you press "shift + E" it will stun your focus target.

You have a variety of other useful macros, but it's rarely what people actually believe them to be. Having 10 abilities stringed together to do all the work for you, ect...

  5. I have a Razer Naga... with 12 thumb buttons...I use my 1-4 on the number Row....and 1-9 on the naga...and then i bind other skills with Alt 1-4 and alt 1-9....that 26 buttons to use for skills. 10 11 12 are used for buffs and minor cds

I do roughly the same thing with my naga, it's pretty nice.

  6. He basically says the entire video.

"This isn't 100% like WoW's PvP and I don't know how to think outside of that to get things done so it's the game's fault."

He said he just doesn't find the PvP fun, doesn't mean he was bad at it. It sounded like he understood the mechanics very well, but complaining about the lack of depth. Just one man's opinion.

But yes, he does make too many WoW comparisons.

  7. Just hearing the kid talks and watching him make, I know he's bad and/or playing vs bads.

He's actually a pretty good PvPer.

Although he does mainly play a paladin, so I guess "pretty good" is as far as you can go.

  8. He's coming from Arena, which even by Blizzard's admission, is the single worst mistake they ever made concerning PvP in WoW.

You still have to be pretty skilled to get passed 2400, which sacredheals has.

  9. Sounds like Bright Wizard to me. "Playing with fire is fine, not our fault healers don't know how to purge it" (Bright Wizard argument when they were dot stacking and getting two for one kills with playing with fire)

"AoE damage is fine you just need to learn to move" (Bright Wizard argument when they were running magnet/aoe bomb squads killing entire warbands in a few seconds)

And Pyro. "Circle is fine, we need it because we can't survive outside of it" (Pyro argument as to why circle should keep them CC immune and have its mitigation increase)

Oh god, the horrible memories as a Squig Herder.
