Far as it goes, I don't like RNG in my PvP. Seems some people like it, but I personally think it just doesn't have any place in player vs. player content. PvE content? Sure, RNG is involved. That's part of the experience. Fighting bosses with your friends and hoping that item drops. Hoping that you win the roll if it does, or have the proper amount of "points" in your guild to claim it. PvP has the potential to be, and often is a solo effort. It's also a much different experience from PvE content. I honestly can't think of any other MMORPG that uses RNG for it's PvP system. Gear in PvP is usually earned gradually by working hard, and showing some amount of skill. Here in SWTOR, anyone can get lucky and gear up in a full set of decent PvP gear in a week or two. Others can spend over a month and could honestly come out with only one piece of the Champion gear. It just seems like an extremely flawed system to me. Changing the battlemaster bags is a start, but I really hope they carry this over to the Champion bags as well. In return, they ought to make the Centurion set purchasable with a high amount of both Warzone commendations, and Mercenary commendations combined. I'm not a fan of having to play off luck to gain the intermediate set of PvP gear. I've already gotten six pairs of shoes, and three implants, among various other pieces of gear. I'm not complaining, and I'll live with it if it doesn't change, but I highly disapprove of the current system.
