  1. Hopefully you put this bug in your reason for unsubscribing, if not maybe resubscribe and instantly unsubscribe to be able to put this as a reason for you no longer subscribing.
  2. This seems to be happening to some but not all of my characters. I see the targeting arrow all the time on some characters and then some characters it doesn't show up in warzones. It seems to be something that's saved server side for each individual character. Possibly a bad setting written to the SWTOR database either at creation or some other point in time?
  3. This bug just started happening to me recently with newly created characters. Target arrow not showing up in wazones on only some of my characters. Reloading the UI in a warzone when there's not targeting arrow will sometimes put a targeting arrow over another player and won't switch even though your target focus switches. I've repaired SWTOR numerous times now because I'm also getting the abilities not firing off when pressed bug which leads you to timing out and getting kicked out of warzones(since you see the button showing it's being pressed on Return to MedCenter but not doing anything). Not sure these 2 bugs go hand in hand, but they started happening somewhat in the same timeframe for me(recently).
  4. This bug has hit certain characters I have and not all of them. Some of my characters simply don't get the targeting arrow which is pretty important in bigger battles and some of them do. I've tried resetting all graphic settings and nothing helps. It's not completely game breaking like the abilities not firing off when you press them bug, but this is one notch under, it's very tough to see who to fight when there's a group of enemies(like in a warzone) and if you're a melee, it can really create problems.
  5. It's a bug that sure, in PvE it's fustrating but it's not game breaking, you just have to wait it out or run away and if you die, you just have to wait it out till you can respawn(I assume), a problem but not a huge problem. In a warzone if you die while it's happening you can time out and get kicked out of the warzone... a waste of time queueing and playing part of a warzone but also you just handicapped your team by being down a person for 1-2 minutes depending on how long you took from not being able to fight/heal to when a new person joins the warzone. It's an absolutely game breaking bug for PvPers.
  6. Hello, devs? Are you there, can you replicate the bug? Anything? What a wonderful time it is to play 1/2 way through a warzone only to be kicked out because you timeout while clicking(and it displaying it's being clicked) the return to medcenter and nothing happen.
  7. This bug has gotten really bad in the last few weeks, I'm now regularly getting kicked out of warzones because the "RETURN TO MEDCENTER" isn't firing off when I click on it. I'd say about 25% of the warzones I play in I get kicked because of this bug(the bug leads you to dying since you have no abilities then you time out from not being able to respawn). I'd have to say my abilities not working is happening 1-3 times a game but if I'm lucky, I don't die and time out of the game. I'm sure my teammates love a player who can't do anything to help... or have to wait the entire time it takes for a teammate to time out, get kicked out and their 8th teammate to accept and zone into the warzone.
  8. Might not be a #1 priority, but it's a pretty quick fix, so why not spend a few minutes to fix it to have 1 more thing working properly? The bug is that players that are level 10 and higher are being told they're not high enough to pvp in warzones. Maybe a timeout reading the characters level from the database and with that, defaults to lower then level 10?
  9. Is there a way to give back my 30 free days? I'd like to not be counted as "Active". I myself believe the 30 free days that are tacked onto your account AFTER you no longer are paying for it is just a way to skew the numbers so it doesn't look as bad as it really is. I like SWTOR, I don't like how the lack of population is being handled. All it would take is someone to say go ahead with server transfers and a couple days later they'd be ready(depending on how much internal testing they do on it). Isn't it odd that the free 30 days(you can't decline the extra days) came right after SWTOR lost nearly 25% of it's subscribers in about 1 month between March to April?
  10. The developers can only do what they're allowed to do. Management tells the workers what they can and can't do and with that... politics comes into play. Do you focus on future content or current problems? Do you gain and keep more customers with future content(with people coming back and retaining who you have) or do you lose more people because you let current problems slide. It's almost all political, very little to do with technical at this point. You can go to battle with the best soldiers possible, but if you have someone in charge making horrible decisions then you're going to get slaughtered.
  11. You can't, BioWare has given you 30 free days so even if you quit, next month you're still seen as an Active subscriber.
  12. You do understand, moving a character to another server under legacy would be the same as deleting a character under legacy. I wanted to change mains and use my same name, so I deleted a level 50, valor level 74 powertech and guess what, legacy handled it. Legacy is more then likely nothing more then a couple of new tables in the database, 1 to match up each one of your character's ID to your now unique legacy ID and then another table of what you've unlocked. Legacy has zero impact on how to transfer since it's already handling deleted characters(characters no longer on that server). I'm guessing most people would be amazed to know that most of your toons data is just connected through hash tables that connect IDs of items with IDs of your characters which now are connected to 1 Legacy ID.
  13. This happens all the time, way more then people can understand. Look at all the automotive execs that got bonuses after their companies got bailouts from the government. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME just on a different scale. It's sad, but it's quite common.
  14. Of course they care, they're creating revenue with this venture, this created a lot of jobs for BioWare. The question is where in the management process are they not allowing what needs to be done because it would reflect on them badly. Don't many people understand how odd it is to say "early summer" when it's quite possible to have server transfers available now? They absolutely could pick which servers they could allow transfers to and from at this time.
  15. They don't have to drop everything, they probably need 2 people to work on it, 1 being a DBA and the other one of their software engineers on the web team. After that whoever they need to do the testing to make sure it's solid. It's as easy as someone giving the ok to do it, this is why I say it's political, it's very easy to get the coding done in 1 day then however long you need to test it before releasing it. It just reflects badly upon a brand new game and with that, you can point fingers at certain people in charge of the game and it's development.
