  1. I just started playing again after some time off. I have a level 50 character on a dying server (Krath) so I created some new characters on a populated server (The Fatman). According to the patch 1.3 article on IGN, we will soon be able to transfer characters to different servers. What is concerns me is how will this affect Legacy? If I start a new Legacy on my new server, but then port my old character over, which Legacy will be dominant for those characters? Should I hold off on getting a new Legacy with my new characters? Will I even be able to transfer my old character to my new server while keeping my new characters? Will the Legacy experience also transfer over? I don't think they've released this information yet, but I was wondering what your thoughts were.
  2. I love the fact that I can share Bound Armor between myself and my companions. But I think it would be really awesome if I could share Bound Armor among characters within my Legacy. For alt-oholics such as myself, it would be a great way to re-use armor for my class that I no longer use, particularly armor that took a while to compile, such as PVP sets. One problem I can see with this, however, is people ninja-looting Bind on Pickup Armor, saying "Hey this is for my alt!" Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Would this be a good use of the Legacy system? Or would it just lead to rampant ninja looting?
  3. I believe that BioWare will find a way to re-implement the system, because I believe them at their word. We will just have to wait to see when that will be, because as they said in this post (http://www.swtor.com/blog/why-unify-color-chest-piece-gone-and-whats-next), and based on your responses, it was a very popular feature. But for those of you who think we can get by without a matching color system, by just playing more to get the full armor set, you aren't realizing that some armor sets are not complete. For example: Boarding Party and The Foundry drop Orange Head, Chest, and Glove pieces. While there is a set of BH specific greaves, they are blue. So the armor set for those two flashpoints is incomplete. Hell, I keep my T1-5A Imperial Security Body Armor, the BH chestpiece from The Foundry, on Torian because his default pants, black with a bright yellow line running down the side, match the white and bright yellow chestpiece better than anything I can find for my character. I'm excited to see BioWare's future implementation of a new Color Match system, I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.
  4. Thanks for the responses. I'll try to see if I can find the Dev post about it. I use Orange Gear for the most part, and upgrade my mods. I feel like I am progressing because I add new mods. I can see why others might not feel the same way, but Orange gear is great for me because I almost feel like my characters have consistent costumes, like a comic book superhero or even a Star Wars character. Plenty of quests give out mods as a reward, and you can purchase awesome mods with commendations. It would have been strange to see Boba Fett is one suit at Cloud City and a completely different one at Jabba's Palace. Or most of the same suit but different gloves or a different helmet. I hope they put Color Match back in. As a previous poster said, you can always switch it off or don't use Orange Armor if you need to see your progression visually.
  5. I'm loving the game thus far (level 42 BH + a multitude of alts) but I was wondering where Color Match went. In beta, Color Match was a feature that matched the color of your armor to the main colors of your chest piece. It was absolutely brilliant because my characters always looked cohesive, and it was toggable, which allowed me to decide how I wanted my character to look. But now Color Match is gone, and I spend a lot of time trying to look for matching armor, or hating the armor I do have because it doesn't work together visually. Does anyone else miss Color Match? Does anyone know where it went?
