  1. Aye, can confirm that I spoke to the specialists first and that is the alt that has bugged out. We have a root cause established at least, hopefully that means the dev team are able to invoke a quick-fix.
  2. Apologies for the double post - have a solution: Manually commanding your companion to attack the Knights one by one seems to disrupt the shield for a few seconds at a time. Rinse and repeat until they're down, then you can talk to Lana.
  3. Have also encountered this bug - possibly tied to the order in which we defeat mobs/bosses in that fight?
  4. The 2.4 patch added some content, but did so for those already playing the game - i.e. Level 55s got access to Oricon. This digital expansion pack, presumably (yet to be confirmed, I grant you) will allow even brand new players to jump straight in to the brand new content.

  6. Hear hear! I would like to see the same for PVE armours like Tionese, Columi and Rakata also. I understand why they had to be removed as tiered, modded pieces on the PVE ladder but the shells themselves were good-looking pieces of kit and it would be nice to have a way for alts I have levelled since they were removed to be able to attain certain looks once more.
  7. The tank mount moves at a -50% speed if I recall correctly. Which shows BW aren't opposed to introducing slow mounts out-of-hand. So special cases like the bantha or dewback which are very iconic mounts may well become reality soon.
  8. Wonder if we could get a Community Team member to pass a question onto the developers as to whether or not we might see these armours - or at least their shells - make a reappearance in the future? In any form.

  12. Hi folks! Going by the 2.1 patch notes, it seems that old discontinued armours like the Centurion/Champion sets and the Tionese/Columi/Rakata sets won't be included in the Collections feature's ability for those of us who have an old amour piece to create new copies of these owned items across our accounts. I wonder if the developers might reconsider this? Many of us have been playing the game since launch, and I know a lot of players hoard old discontinued armour sets like those above as a sort of 'badge of honour'. But when we level new alts on our account, we're stuck in the same boat of no longer being able to get these old armour sets for our new characters. If the Collections feature could have these discontinued sets added to it, then old players with new alts could still utilise the sets they've collected over the months. And it would add a new dimension for the idea of the 'Collections' themselves - collections for long-time players to display their longevity.
  13. Is it possible to buy Recruit gear before 50, even though you can't use it? If you just want the look (it won't be moddable), you could do that.
  14. You can make it from 45 to 50 on double xp within five hours if you use a boost and just blast through it, no distractions, etc, just give yourself a marathon sessions. I've levelled two characters from mid thirties to 50 the past two weekends for the exact same reason, so I sympathise man!
  15. There were ~700k players before F2P, but I believe the figure is now 2,000,000 with TOR's F2P being touted as one of the most successful "turn-arounds" in gaming history. Will try to find a source to back that up, but I've definitely read it around the 'Net.
  16. Add me to the list of people who wants to see a stop to armour being removed from the game. Updates making old armour sets obsolete? Fine! No problem! Updates meaning we lose the chance to ever wear that armour shell again? Not fine! Problem!

  18. Ooh, I had heard whispers on the grapevine about that. Have the devs hinted at it anywhere? Would be awesome if true.
  19. That solution works for me, so long as we can get schematics for all the different colour variations. Give the crafters a boost in their economies too. And while we're at it bring back the variations of the early Centurion and Champion PVP sets! I'd love to update some of my characters with that General Veers-esque 'Imperial teal' body armour from the Champion IA set.
  20. Is there any news on what shall become of the armour shells themselves, Amber? Will future characters be able to attain the appearance of Tionese/Columi/Rakata gear? The removal of mods I understand due to simplifying the endgame, but it would be nice to have these cosmetic options for future alts.

  22. Doesn't really make a case for why it shouldn't have colour unify though. After all, if you don't want it, you have the ability to turn the feature off.
  23. I think you'll find that's precisely the point my good man! Both in-character and out-of-universe, the attack on the Academy is supposed to resemble the Sacking of Coruscant. To show the Empire that they're having their own table turned on them, etc.
