  1. They are called Bonus Quests because they are "BONUS" for those that still enjoy the planet or wish to come back to it later... If you don't like it, just skip them.
  2. 1. Questing 8/10 2. Storyline 9/10 (Best in MMO genre) 3. Graphics 8/10 (I really like the chars) 4. Sound 5/10 (lacks music) 5. PvP 6/10 6. Pve 8/10 7. UI 7/10 8. Product Readiness 6/10 9. Customer Service -/10 (never had the need to use it) 10. Overall 8/10
  3. That's the recipe for the Awesomesauce
  4. Why don't just quit, avoiding the rage? Less stress, better life: it's just a game.
  5. Isn't the AH there shared? It'a a FFA area...
  6. It's a MMO where it needs to be (flahspoints, raid, pvp), it's a good sp rpg where you want it to be (leveling). But I'm one of the few out there really liking the game, so that's probably my fault
  7. Daernar. I've some problem with my internet connection in these days, so I will be probably (hopefully) available from Thursday.
  8. I don't know if it's too late, if not you can count me in, lv34 Sith Marauder (I suppose as an Acolite, even if my char is quite a loyal and fervent imperialist).
  9. I will probably join an Empire rp guild later on, so I will keep an eye on this thread I hope that, being this a pvp server, the guilds will actively engage in feuds and battles: I'm missing the old brawls from UO
  10. Seems a bit scarce, are there more RP guilds out there on Lord Calypho?
  11. I have a lv 34 Marauder, lv 15 Agent, and all other classes (both imp and rep) between lv 4-8. Loving the game, and I've been lucky with the bugs so far. I'm also in no hurry to reach the 50, so I'll probably take 2 or 3 chars to lv 45 before capping, giving more time to BW to fix the end-game.
  12. Did it work before these 3 days, or you never used it? You don't need to be at the crafting station to use it.
  13. I have exactly the opposite problem, too much content, too much xp, I keep outleveling everything Wanna buy my xp?
  14. I equip myself only with orange items (I love to be able to decide the look of my char and not be forced by the game to wear the FotM), so crafting is what is making it possible; I don't drop/receive nearly enough mods for all my slots and those of the comps...
  15. Go to the Planets section in the Codex, select a planet and expand. There you see how many codex entries are there, how many you have and how many you are missing for each category.
  16. QFT, KOTOR too has some of the most grindy area in the entire history of CRPG
  17. One of the few true innovation of the game, and well done imho. If it's like WoW, it stinks. Itf it's different than WoW, it's stupid. Mmo players are probably the worst customers ever...
  18. Not really. Done 5-6 WZ, than stopped to not gain too much xp. I do flashpoint only once, twice if I see an orange item which skin I really want to add to my collection. And I don't grind. Simply, I have done each quest on every planet so far (bonus included), and once every space mission. To me, this is a standard way to play the game, I'm not farming nor rushing.
  19. I don't have, but I want to. That's why I'm not asking, like others did, to slow down the xp gaining of the game, but just to give me a way to do it if I want to.
  20. I totally agree. When there is, the music is top notch. The problem is that it just lasts for 15 seconds, then it's me with my footsteps... If you go to youtube, you can catch the complete soundtrack put there by BW: never heard most of those tracks in game...
  21. I disagree. The choices, the unique dialogues options, the reactions from the companions and orange itemization (usually quest loot) are all reasons to see everything with every char, at least for me. The point is, giving the choice to stop leveling for those who want it does not change anything to the gameplay of those who see outleveling content as a plus (and there are some in this thread). I don't want to "blitz" areas. To what purpose? To reach an unfinished end-game and whine?
  22. Does this mean that I still see the yellow triangle on the map for "grey" quests? Because usually in other MMOs you can still take grey missions, but you have to know who is the quest. That's one of the main reasons for having such kind of switch. I find myself often just pressing the standard attack button (or some random attack) instead of focusing on using correctly all the skills because the fights are so easy.
  23. As strange as it may sound, I would like to have a trigger that stops experience gaining. I'm lv 34, just arrived in Alderaan and already outleveled it completely. This means that I will leave it at lv 36-37, outleveling again the next planet. While this may seem as a minor problem, it's forcing me to avoid PvP and Space Missions (too much xp there), and always fighting against green-grey mobs is just too easy and boring. I know, I could skip a planet entirely, but I want to see the storylines and choices (isn't it one of the pillar of the game?). So please, an option to stop leveling could really be useful (and without any consequences for those that are ok with the actual pacing).
  24. mh, no flame so no interest... ok, I will unsub if they don't add music in loop everywhere!
  25. I have to admit, I've never really been into theme parks mmo. I tried WoW, but got bored before even taking the mount (lv 20, if I remember correctly). So I bought SWTOR more to enjoy some evenings with friends than for the game per se. I like SW, but I'm far from a "fan"; I liked KOTOR, but I have never been really impressed by BW narrative skills. Yet this game has something that has made me renew my subscription for other 3 months. It the story, ofc. But also exploring Tatooine (I hope that from now on all the planets are like it, because it has been one of the few real exploration experience I have in a mmo, with many little things to see and do - ah Jawa's Balloon, I hate you-, nice scenery, the codex to add lore etc etc), Space Combat (really, it's so simple but I enjoy it)... Then I've found Outlaw Den, the FFA area on Tatooine with the AH, with no quest or real incentives to go there (and therefore I was alone) and fight. I've traveled for hours in the desert... and no soundtrack at all to give the "epic" feeling that such adventure deserves. I have this big planet, where I can fight Reps, full of little nice villages... that I cannot conquer for the Empire, or my guild, or just raid for a bit of loot... Everything is there to have a great game, full of things to do.. yet somehow it seems that no-one in BW thought about such things that came to my mind after 10 mins on the planet...
