You mean like yourself rejecting reality? Guildwars is not even on the same playing field as this game and the Diablo series is mindless, but fun. And, WTH is "The Secret World"? Actually, you do. For example, I call my cable TV provider whining incoherently and they hand me a free month of play time. Does that mean my cable TV provider is "desperate" and "going under"? No, it means they are trying to play nice and provide service. WoW does the same crap and so does every pay service in existence. The forums here in SWTOR are actually the majority: the majority of jerks that is. OP is completely dead-on.

You do realize that the starter pvp set you can buy with minimal cash is comparable to battlemaster gear right? This allows a casual pvper to literally jump right into the mix. Of course, I see lazy *****es jump in with pve gear and wonder why they get face-rolled.

I don't understand how you only got 2 medals? Seriously, you get one medal for just standing there on defense. And, if you get a killing blow you get another. That's two right there. If you are averaging 2-3 medals per match, you are seriously doing something very, very wrong. I average 5 medals per match and that is with sub-par gear.

Actually the crickets churped for your response; not the OP. Anyway, I agree 200% with this post. It still baffles me how people that allegedly hate this game continue trolling, whining, and posting on forums for a game they claim to hate? Just like the little brats in school, it is an attention-getting scheme for those that think their world and their version of reality is the only one that exists. I think this game does a lot of things that no MMO has done before. The only thing that WoW really has on this game is cross-server ques for pvp and dungeons. If Bioware adds that feature it will solve a lot of problems with claimed low-populations and other difficulties. Honestly, I have been an avid WoW-player for its entire existance. And, it does have a lot to offer, but this has more to offer for Star Wars fans. That is what is important to me. The biggest problem I have had with ANY MMO, including this one, is not the game - it is the people. People suck - plain and simple. People ruin it. The game itself is absolutely amazing. Some of the responses I see that it is, "just OK", I would really love to hear from them what game is amazing? I'll bet they will have no answer... People in this day and age and this world are so friggen flakey. No, the game is not broken dudes; the people ARE.

I am sticking with this game for a longgggggg time; I stand by it. It blows away ANY MMO I have ever played at launch, so I can only imagine what is in store for the future.

The way I see it, is there are a lot of people not playing atm, but still holding their subs. 1.2 will not flop, I am willing to bet on that. Just like with major changes in WoW, watch how flooded some of the servers will be when 1.2 goes live. Then, it will slowly die down until the next major patch comes out. Population moves in surges. Right now, SWTOR is too new to have the population as stable as WoW. Give it time and be patient with the patches and content. Bioware will get it right, at least in my humble opinion.

You sir, are extremely incorrect. < 2% of the population has gotten the best gear in WoW because of hard-core guilds that only recruit people that live and breathe WoW and devote 3+ nights per week spending 4+ hours every night in attempt after attempt on one single boss. Mind-numbing and frustrating is not what I call a great game, dude. Take your hard-core makes right attitude back to WoW, since it is SOOOOOO great for you and your lifestyle. No, Wow is not more than an investment of time. It's not a measure of personal skill at all; it is a measure of hardcore persistence and nothing more. Sure, you make 800 attempts on one boss hoping each time that some newb doesn't screw it up until your eyes bleed - yeah you are going to down it eventually. I have been playing WoW since it was a newborn baby and I will tell you that WoW has very little on SWTOR. Spending 7 years building a game and sure it will be more polished. WoW raiding totally sucks and and is NOT a selling point for a large portion of the WoW population. It is a selling point for YOU, sure. Then, go enjoy it and quit trying to convince everyone that WoW raiding is some perfectly created MMO dream come true.
