  3. Based on the number of crashes in recent weeks, the current line of Harbinger Hamsters probably has developed some genetic flaw. I recommend the disposal of the existing line of hamsters, and a new batch brought in to resume operations!

  6. The last few days on Harbinger has been pretty bad for bot-like behavior. Been getting domination matches where fighters would do one of the following: - beelines to a node and stop, do nothing even when another ship stops next to it and blows it up. - beelines to a node, then just fly circles - beelines to a node, attacks turrets by stopping at max range and opening fire. The toons that do this are usually lowbie toons. This is just not on, it ruins the fun for everyone...
  7. Just a question to those that have been around long enough and had some Centurion/Merc comms prior to the 2.4 update. Did it convert properly to regular wz comms (as per the notes), or did it disappear into thin air? I had 1k + 800 comms (pretty sure of this, because I ran off to check when I saw the notes before the actual update; because, yay free comms), but they definitely didn't convert and simply dropped off the list. CS claimed I never had them though ~_~. Did anyone have this issue? or should be getting my mental health assessed

  10. How BW is treating us in regards to the Guild Bank situation is nothing short of fraud! Our guild has 5 tabs, thats 15million credits! I look at the situation in this manner: The APAC servers are apartment blocks BW has condemned. We are told we will be moved automatically in 60 days but we can walk out the door at any time. However, as they have stop new residents from coming your business at the apartments collapses and your family is forced to move. As you leave the BW guards come to you and take half your stuff.
  11. <Force Synergy> (formerly <Synergy> of Dalborra) has set up shop on Harbinger and are looking to increase its numbers for completing Ops content. We currently have 2 8-man Ops teams that are under-manned and in need of flesh blood to fill positions. Casuals are also welcome as we currently do run non-progression 16-man ops on weekends. In terms of progression we have cleared all 8-man pre-2.2 Ops content. We have no emphasis on rushing to complete any new content as not being "First!!" is not an issue for us. We run most nights starting at around 8:30pm AEDT. Current Ops group vacancies: - DPS (any class), must be capable of HM and NM Ops.   12. Once again another half-thought out idea by BW. I don't mind the manual transfer, I don't mind having to build a temp guild on the new server, but a 60 day countdown to auto merge with an immediate lockout of the servers?!? Who the heck thought this was a good idea for us users?!? We literally CANNOT STAY on APAC anymore. We have to leave ASAP. In the 36 hrs since transfers started, Dalborra has lost more than 60% of its active population. PVP queues are dead, with NO ONE in warzones. "Then just transfer" some of you will say, "why are you ranting?", etc. I am angry because of BW's lack of foresight, thought (or simply just couldn't be bothered) about guild transfers. We can't wait 60 days for the auto-merger with the downward spiral of population (unless BW thinks we are all anti-social introverts)!!. We have already seen from earlier posts that unlike the previous transfers, CS is not restoring bank tabs. All those credits down the drain because they can't be bothered. And if we actually gonna wait the 60 days for the guild to arrive, what the heck are we supposed to do in the mean time? if we bought anything for the new guild, all would be lost again when we disband and join the old. If you want to look at the transfers with a cynical eye, APAC are merely guinea pigs for the paid transfer system for the rest of the player-base. All that free testing with in-place disclaimers that you only get transfers and nothing else. So... back to Guild issues Bioware Austin should do one of the following: a) Accelerate the Merge schedule The population will be lucky to last 3 weeks, merge everyone ASAP! b) Provide bank tabs to relocated guilds Just like how the initial transfers were c) Compensate Guilds with credits If BW thinks credits are trivial for us to spend them again on new tabs, then in reverse they should be able to just give us the credits.
  13. Server consolidation in 60days?!?! That is way too long. With the server lock in place players on APAC will probably be starting to have visible population related issue within 3 weeks. Practically forcing us to all use manual transfers, on top of needing most ppl to rename their toons, is gonna make guild relocations soooo messy And what is gonna happen to Guild bank tabs (the tabs not the items, I know we already will have to use pack mule toons)? Do we have to submit a whoie slew of tickets to restore them?
  14. <Synergy> will be moving to Harbinger, but under a slightly different name as there is already some casual guild there with the same name.
  15. The hardware / hosting contracts in this case is irrelevant. You may be paying for them, but you don't actually have to use the service. Sure it will cost you money, but given that your customers are not being properly serviced anyway, the whole argument about hosting costs is pointless. At this point, it is all about APAC customer retention. There is no marketing for SWTOR in APAC. Every new player is here because they stumbled on to it by reading a blog or word of mouth from a friend. With 3 servers, they log on to Dar'nala, see the desolation on the fleet and leave the game. You want to provide the best environment possible to increase your customer base, and that is by merging servers. Having 3 servers for the sake of 3 servers is not a sensible business case when it splits the population base so much that it depresses your existing customers and drives away new ones.
  16. So, there will be a time in the future when no one will bump this thread up for a week. This will not be because no one cares anymore, but that the last disgruntled APAC player visiting the forums finally got their forum perma-ban. In EAware's mind this event would fall under the following phrases: "No news is good news" "Silence is golden" I can just imagine the following happening in the subsequent quarterly EA earnings call: "Customer satisfaction for SWTOR has definitely improved. In fact I can report that we have not received any complaints in the forum from our Australian customers the past few weeks. Having achieved this outcome, we will now be implementing additional revenue options as our customers have accepted our current Cartel Market format."

  18. My quick browse didn't show a thread on this so I am posting. CS may try to hide this by pushing this post into Customer Service. Basically what is happening is that PVP matches on at least 2/3 of the APAC servers are broken. Dar'nala now crashes out when someone joins a pvp game as a solo. Dalborra does the same, but also has an added bonus of locking down the toon in a phantom ops group (like the one used in pvp matches). What does this mean you ask? Ops groups no longer work properly for that toon. Anyone trying inviting that person will get "Invalid Character" added into their group which they can't kick. So this is now way beyond a PVP issue. Many Guilds now can't raid because of this bug. No one seems to have received a reply for all the tickets piled up for this issue. With APAC (as it can be seen on that other thread), "we hear nothing" seems to be the current CS policy for the region. Also, pvp will still work as a group, but you end up in a empty game, and you can farm valor / comms for it. Please do not discard this as merely a pvp issue. Pve is now seriously affected by its effects Please post here if you have suffered the conditions stated above. BTW: Pre-50s and Ranked pvp seems to be fine for now. Updated: Added note that Ranked WZ still works.
  19. Synergy is a progression raiding guild on the republic side. We are looking for skilled sage or scoundrel Healer to join our 2nd Ops team. Our primary raid time is 8:30pm AEDT on most days (depending on your team allocation). Other days are possible depending on member feedback. Applicants have to be flexible in battle as well as being able to hit their required dps/hps/threat benchmarks. Gearing isn't an issue but once armed you are expected to hold your own. The use of Ventrilo and MOX is expected.
