Changes are up. Buff to Annihilation damage and reduction in focus cost. Change to rupture proccing, dots uncleansable. We'll have to see how much they upped damage

For regs we're playing alot more in our Imp Guild. If anyone is looking for Imp Premades in regs whisper those of us in the Last Praetorians. I think some of us will be up for some team ranked as well.

An a discussion about this with a really smart and experienced player in my guild. He made the argument that old content should be accessible to players and therefore should be nerfed to be easier for casuals. As a raiding guild HM EC seems like a joke, but he said many would enjoy a slightly scaled up version of EC SM so that it is HM. This gives more content to the average player and in reality any progression raider at 55 is not playing this stuff anyway. Keeping it current or nerfing is not going to make me and my guild run EC or old raids more. Instead I would like to see drop rates on rare mounts increased with no nerf. So the Praxons for EC HM would be guaranteed and maybe a guaranteed NiM Titan mount off Styrak. I think these mounts should still be relatively rare, but considering that the NiM tiers are still pretty hard for most players and would require time taken away from current raids it would make guilds more likely to run this old content, which is pretty much good for everyone except those who already have these rare speeders. As much as I want a Praxon Bloodline there is no way I'm going to grind EC HM 50 times for a rare drop instead of banging my head against NiM Brontes or hopping on the PTS for NiM DP. It also seems like Bioware is a little bipolar on this with some mounts being guaranteed drops: NiM Brontes mount, Firaxa, while others are rare drops: pyroclast, tank, Titan, Helix, Korrealis off the new FPS.

I will never give up my Sentinel, never, but ranged really is much easier for an ops group. I want at least one sent if possible because transendence is beastly and inspiration can make a check easier. An off taunt can be extremely useful as well thinking back to NiM EC as well NiM Brontes. Having said that, ranged is just much easier on the vast majority of fights, but a great melee player is worth bringing. If you know the class inside and out and have a great DPS output you'll be fine with melee.

Count GCDs is the best way or use a program like TORAssistant

I'm not sure and really curious too here. One very good Sage DPS on our server runs all power, 62 points in alacrity, 62 points in accuracy, rest in surge. Not sure if this is ideal or not and if it differs for TK vs Balance. I would think for Balance some crit would be beneficial since the DR is tiny at low numbers, you get self-heals from crit and the surge bonus from Mental Scarring.

Agreed, please don't do this. The H rebind was the worst! Having to change it on 15 toons was very tedious as I use H for medpacks on all toons.

I don't run this anymore but they really should do it. Wouldn't mind ones for Hoth and Alderaan too.

Haven't seen anything, but I thought I noticed the adds near the gate-keeper have names now in NiM instead of generic titles. That seems awfully suspicious to me. Also the reflecting adds seem like they could have a mechanic similar to the rats in S&V.

Shameless bump. We got out new tank his full DP HM clear as a tank (including Tyrans NiM mechanics). Right now HM raids are 9 PM PT on Thursday and Monday, but if we get more raiders we will open up to other nights. We are also well primed to have a sick guild ship. Just saying...

With being able to show vehicles and pets, will these be legacy wide or is it just the character you're on?

Anybody know any tricks to getting these speeders? I've been grinding these FPS pretty hard and have yet to see one drop. From what I understand it drops only in Korriban for pub toons and Tython for imp toons. Do you need a full party for it to drop or will it drop solo? Is it off only the last boss or all bosses? Just want to see how many times I have to run it since it's a BOP speeder and I'm a collector. Thanks for the help!

Still looking for more healers, tanks and DPS for HM runs during the week. Get your Ops, an active Mumble, and PVP groups at almost all times of day.

I liked doing these once for the story, but now I'm grinding them for the speeder and relics. Queues don't seem to pop too fast for tactical which is annoying, they are pretty tough to solo or it takes a long time, and the drop rate on the speeders is low which leads to a frustrating experience. Have started making guildies run it with me, but would have loved to be able to guarantee a relic drop every run and maybe trade in 20 relics for the speeder.

Not a problem at all. We pride ourselves on being pretty flexible with raid schedules. Fill out an app on our site and we'll try and get you into a HM ops for an evaluation and you sound like a strong fit. Anyone else who is looking I'll be online tonight and available to answer any questions and potentially include on a trial run assuming you have filled out an app on our site.
