I have been playing an OP since early release.. We have great opening burst but we are not really OP if you think about a few things... All of my burst skill require me to be behind the target, unlike lets say Voltaic Slash.. ( LOL ) If you think its easy to stay behind someone in a MMO without collision detection then your nuts. If you let someone stay behind in an MMO then your really nuts... Bottom line is we are designed to do high front-load ( or ummm rear load ) dmg . We do not get abilitys that lets say let us run through acid and fire traps without taking dmg and force sprint to the goal line.. We do not get ablitys that let us fly from the bottom of the screen all the way across the screen and score.. In conclusion if you are attacked from BEHIND by a OP and sustain high dmg over a 3 to 5 sec span congrats cause that what were designed to do .

Not really much you can do about it.. Baron Deathmark ( or whatever his name is ) tells you to cheat if you can soo.. I am guessing this is ok.. I also know that if ya stand on the pedestal where the ball spawns you take dmg from only aoe abilitys... but anyway call names , and CHEAT if ya want to just don't kick the ball..

Hu ? what part of not getting ANYTHING for open world pvp is a balance issue ? so if the population was balanced I would get valor,credits, accommodation for open world kills ?

Heck I dont try to PvP the one rebel I see. I just hope he goes around and caps the OB's so I can recap and get my daily/weekly done...

I am not on the same ship as the OP but sorry to you sir, in its current state the game does in fact fail... But according to BIO they have hired the BEST PvP developers in the world.. My only question is when do said developers start ???????

Arena is a BAD idea.. Its lazy PvP.. I say go play WoW if you want arena.. I think BIO need to hire the people who created DAOC's PvP .. Then we will have us a game..

My server is so imbalanced that we play hut ball with nothing but imperial players, no rebels at all.. I sure hope SWTOR doesn't go the way of the Warhammer...

I know it will take a while to get everything smoothed out.. here are just a few must haves that I would like to see and the sooner the better.... 1) EXP,valor,credits for open world PvP kills... I mean this should be in place all ready I have no idea why its not... 2) more quickbars LOL. When I hit like lvl 30 I was all ready out of q-bar space.. Also there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to customize the UI and move the q-bars where I want them on screen...(I am a clicker so no shift/alt for me, I shoulden be punished for it) 3) please fix the cover bar toggle.. I toggle the cover bar off and every time I zone it auto toggles back on... All in all I think the game is great for just being launched. I also think that were way to far into the MMO scean to not include basic features like those listed above... That being said , great job BW...
