  1. Not only do I enjoy them - especially the fly in/out ones, but it's a better way of passing the time than a picture.

Makes the transition between places much better, a static picture feels very "interrupting", would be very nice if you could have the option to play a fly in cinematic instead.

    1. The best thing would be if every destination had a fly in and out scene - that would use what ever ship you took.

    2. Ofc if the destination zone loads before the cinematic finishes, you can press spacebar to skip if you're in a hurry.

(but if you will always skip, you can turn the option off - the loading screen picture of the destination will always be at the end of every cinematic sequence so skipping to the end before the destination is loaded will end at the loading picture, same with if you watch all the way through and don't press spacebar to continue

    3. The scene can show you leaving the planet on a shuttle, and arriving at the destination on your class ship.

    4. Destinations that have access only via special transports, like some Ops and Fps will ofc use those

I think most planets and places have fly in scenes, adn htey aren't hard to do. it's just a planet/base and a ship moving in or out, with the music playing.

For something that is incredibly easy to do, it could make a massive difference in the experience. I hope it is considered.

  2. There were so many good sets and interesting weapons from planetary vendors, professions, flashpoints, and missions rewards. Only a handful of them are still available. During this time they also removed many specialized vendors that sold low level orange moddable items, too, like some blasters that only could be bought on DK, or armor sets that were lvl 20, 40 that had unique appearances, why remove so many things that added flavor to the zone?

. They really should add them back into the game somehow. At least add craft them, or another adaptive gear vendor to the fleet .I'm not sure they will though, because doing so would take attention away from the gear available on the CM, and they definitely want players to keep buying and spending CC on that gear instead. Heck it may be possible that's why they removed a lot of cool-looking gear in the first place and replaced it with less attractive MK-2 versions: to force players to rely on the CM to upgrade from the less attractive sets to the better looking CM gear. :rak_02:

  3. I think Flurry is a good base word to use. I think Saber should be something righteous sounding instead maybe?

Don't mind Saber Dance, but, ths is a really good one because it harkens back to the double (triple later) strike from KOTOR with the same ability name. :rak_01:

    Saber Flurry?

  4. First thing that came to mind was SWG-Emu. I suspect my afición. Character interaction played a big part. You would want to know other professions to do business with for more than Raids, guilds and PvP which created interesting opportunities for personal RP. Knowing a good cantina entertainer could net you some really cheap and great buffs. Imagine design (changing your appearance) was done via a player-to-player initiated barter and smugglers ran contraband for others (illegal spices, etc) at the chance of being caught, etc.. good times.
  5. How many other MMO's update their engines, draw distance slider or increase their number of employees in general?

    I want to know.

The only MMO I've heard of that updated their engine was APB - Reloaded.

Only MMO I've heard of updating their graphics is WoW.

Never heard of an MMO increasing their draw distance clider

As for increasing the number of employees... well, SW:TOR has already done that on several occasions. (whenever a new expansion is made, they bring in voice actors, writers and more to work on it)

But I'm genuinely curious as to what game you are comparing this to that does all that you mentioned...

Havent read the previous pages but I'd like to point out Everquest 2 did something somewhat similar to some of their graphics, namely the character models were all updated at some point like WoW did

  6. so the op actually has no idea either, its all based off a shaky customer service response. so really we have nothing to work with yet.

even if the europeans are screwed, myself included, it would be very apt because you should always beware the "revenge of the 5th".

jokes aside, the way its been handed to the community has been just horrible. i mean i logged off on the 26th, took some time between for other things only to learn that it was just dropped on the players without any advanced warning it was coming. and now there is no warning when the 12xp is coming or when the second half of ziost is meant to happen.

all BW's previous community blogs have been in advance for when something is coming, not sure why this one was any different. i hope it was just a blip.

Yea that 4 month 12x class story boost really ****ed us EU folks over by getting it on May 4th instead of... sooner! But still May 4th..! :rak_04:

  7. Guys lets be honest here bioware/EA dont understand the EU market and doesnt really care about it. They are and always have been all about the US. The most logical way of doing this would have been to unlock the content at either midnight or midday on the 4th of May, but you know as well as I do that then there would be massive whines from some(not all) Americans about how unfair it is that the EU got the content first even if they are all are still in bed.

You can either put up with constantly being 2nd class in bioware's eyes or you can go play something else. Well you can always whine about it constantly too :p

13:40 here in DK and I feel fine. Haters gonna hate.

  8. i think you misunderstood what i was trying to say... i was trying to say you have people reaching max level today that are under geared and have no clue how to play their class. there are just fewer because there are fewer players in game right now. it is a percentage thing.. the greater the number of A you have the grater number of B you will end up with and the fewer the number of B the fewer of A.

Class story ends at 50, problem solved.

Throwing in a cartel bonus class story XP is literally just more money in BW's pocket from me.

  9. Nah, I'd be cool with that.

What part of 'only want to see the story' is hard to understand?

Do people think we're just trying to deceive you all and we're really trying to ruin your endgame content?

Some people don't want us to pay a month's worth of a sub plus extra via Cartel Market to complete a story faster during that sub. Plus not factoring in people who also play a "main" and run multi-player content.

Go figure. Someone just doesn't want others to give BW more money than "necessary" ;)
