A couple individuals have suggested setting up a more specific style "objective based" pvp event, like first side to kill enemy factions commander (for example on Tatooine in the dune sea) wins. I am proposing a server wide PvP event. What would this entail? Well, I'm sure many of you have noticed that outside of warzones, there isn't any PvP on planets, let alone enough people in a PvP instance of a world. To accomodate those seeking PvP throughout their travels, as well as earning those near impossible to get without help PvP Achievements on each planet (For example, killing 1989 (I think that number is correct) players on CZ-198) Each planet that offers PvP achievements has a substantial number attached for the PvP achievements. I'm sure there are alot of you out there that are completionists, or "achievement addicts" (Will not use the other derogatory term used in place of addicts, you know what I'm talking about) and much of you probably have never participated in a server wide event before like in some other MMO's (e.g. world of warcraft Ahn'Qiraj gate opening server organized event) These types of events CAN crash the server, if too many people are around, however I would propose at least 50-100 people gather together for an organized PvP event on a planet or multiple planets. Perhaps this can be a bi-weekly or monthly event, but overall this would help satisfy those who love open PvP and who want to get those PvP achievements. So my question is, is there any interest for this? I will be messaging guild leaders and various players about their thoughts about this. I will also put up a survey for everyone to fill out, a few simple questions to garner interest in this sort of thing. Please participate! The only issues I have with remaining connected to SWTOR is usually and always on the Server End. So today, did some dailies, went to Oricon to do some more, and I get disconnected. No problem, sometimes happens. Try to reconnect, login servers are down. I wait a few minutes, I can log back in. Get back in game, move 50 feet, than get disconnected (It freezes up, I watch my ping go from 50 ms to 100,000+ until it finally Disconnects from server) and no server list shows no character select screen. I exit game, repeat process, and have repeated the process up to 5 times now. It is not going away. Please advise

As title says, I am seeking an active guild that is established with most if not all the amenities (guild bank tabs, flagship, etc.) and uses Discord for their voice communication and guild chat. I have level 60+ of all classes in the game on republic and imperial side. Please reply here so as to reach me better if you think your guild is a fit for me.

A friend was able to assist me and we solved the problem. The problem was indeed the graphics drivers but it wasn't necessarily because i need the latest drivers, it was because when installing new drivers, most of the time it does not properly uninstall the previous drivers. So getting that taken care of helped fix the problem (both problems I believe)

Hello all, I have been a swtor player for since beta, and I took a long break after knights of the fallen empire was released, but have returned today after the full 16 chapters have been released and I wanted to get back into the game. I login, and notice on character select screen as I swivel my character and the background everything is stuttering, acting like it's lagging. I logged in checked fps and it goes around from 32 fps or so down to 11 fps and constantly fluctuates very rapidly turning green to red green to red. The server lag shows just fine running below 50ms at best connection. I have no problems there, but this constant stuttering is bugging me. I can be on my ship and as I walk and participate in combat on a dummy, it's laggy, like it's stuttering. Even cutscenes I saw was laggy and it wasn't being smooth. You get this jumping effect. I do not have any issues with FPS in other games other than the occasional Lag and ping issues. Another strange side issue is when I put my game in windowed mode after having tried different things like lowering and raising graphic settings and resolutions, Being in windowed mode makes the game constantly flash from game to black, game to black, game to black. Just rapid constant flashing. This is interesting, and I also investigated that this does indeed happen in other games. I can play just fine in fullscreen with the exception that SWTOR is experiencing this weird lag/fps stutter. As I said no issues in other games (actually some games played in windowed mode do not flash, whereas some do but that's besides the point of this thread and what I'm asking for help in) So I need to figure this out. Was it a patch? I opened the launcher it reorganized data in the launcher and installed the latest patches. So I'm guessing it has to be because of that and I'd have to re-install. If it is NOT because of that, I don't know what else to do. I have DirectX 11, and great specs which are below. So please help me figure this out. I did even change it to where Vsync and triple buffering and AA is turned on 16x. Even my graphical 3d settings are setup for High performance and it did NOT affect this problem at all. Here are my specs: i7-4930k CPU@3.7 GHZ 16GB RAM 64 Bit OS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

Yes clicking the different crew skill icon pictures next to the companions causes big lag up to 5-10 seconds long of freezing. Using the drop down list of companions (which I think is totally useless since most people I'm sure don't use it but click the pictures) does not cause lag but I've only tested this for me. Something indeed is causing it to freeze for those 5-10 seconds or MORE depending on the player when switching to a different companion for when your crafting something (and as far as I know this is for crafting skills ONLY, not Gathering Crew Skills)
