  1. It's worth looking at "The Secret World" by Funcom. This comes out in June and looking at the "youtube" videos it looks very promising. Hopefully SW TOR might improve with patches, but they will need to merge servers very soon and maybe allow Guilds to merge as well. Meanwhile I'm having to play STO when I hit a daily brick wall with TOR
  2. I really wish that I didn't pay for a 6 month subscription. I really do. All my guild have left and cancelled their subscription and are playing STO and World of Tanks as a filler until something else comes along. Some have even started playing SWG Pre-CU instead. One member is very hostile to fact that he has paid a large sum of money for the collector's box set and feels completely ripped off. The servers are dead and you hardly see many players around and cutting down servers must the sensible choice to save money??? This game has proven to be just a single player game with multii-play co-operation as an add on. This not a mmorpg by any description and is a complete failure to keep the subscriptions online. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in a fantasy world. It feels as if the Bioware team know jack**** about mmorpgs, probably headed up by an arrogant **** with an MBA who should be sacked like it was yesterday. There's only two options for this game now. Sell it to Sony or Xbox or something for their consoles for kids to go online with or downsize completely with a "Free to Play" model. Patch 1.2 at best will only keep some guys interested for about a month only. Please do not spend anymore money is promoting this game as this is a big huge flop and anymore marketing is like selling tickets for the return journey on the Titanic after hitting the iceberg. It's just disappointing all round with all the waiting and hype! I'll let the fan boys rip me apart now in a desperate attempt to convince everyone how good this game is supposed to be. (Probably undercover moderators?)
  3. Well after patch 1.2 I'm very likely to park up my Mercenary Bounty Hunter since he is level 50 for the purposes of legacy. I shall play another class instead as the only thing going for the Mercenary was the Tracer Missile. The enemy for the Bounty Hunter was always the heat and you could rapidly get into trouble and ineffectiveness if you didn't rotate other skills. Trouble is, the Tracer was really the only decent DPS weapon the mercenary had, as other skills were pretty rubbish and only really acted as fillers for De-heating time. Other players not playing the Bounty Hunter Mercenary do not understand this fact that Tracers generate lots of heat and can only be used when your toon is stationary. Also tracers can be interrupted all the time. I have never felt that I was overpowered and often wished I had more willpower from the grief I've had in PvP from users of the force. I wouldn't mind the nerf if the other skills were improved, if only to only more variety on the keyboard. The only option for the Bounty Hunter now is being a Bodyguard "Healer" like a combat medic or something. Not really suited for the classic Bounty Hunter role really is it? I think Bio-ware need to reconsider this one or I can see the death of the Bounty Hunter in TOR. Maybe being a Smuggler is the life for me
