  1. Is it just me or was Lana's line after the kiss before the final battle INCREDIBLY sexy? Be still my heart...
  2. On my Sarlaac enforcer...
  3. First, a curved hilt. I fell in love with the curved hilt the first time I saw it, it's so elegant. I don't need anything flashy on the hilt, I'd like it silver with a basic leather wrap around the centre. For color, I've always loved the yellow. Yellow was the first non-standard lightsaber color I learned about, and it was so mysterious and different. Everyone used blue, green, or red, but to know that there was yellow out there just added a tinge of intrigue to it. Of course SWTOR has given us every color under the rainbow, but I sill love that basic yellow. As for form, I've gotta go form II. Such elegance and precision.
  4. I'm just curious. Statistically speaking there is one type of toon that is the rarest in game in terms of how many people play a particular type of character. Which of the two sexes is less picked? What is the least use race? What is the least used class? Of that that class, which advanced class is used less? Of that advanced class which skill tree is least chosen? Just curious, anyone have any ideas?
  5. Hi, I'm sorry if this is an on-going issue that's yet to be corrected, but I'm very frustrated. I was on Yavin doing the coalition mission for Shadow of Revan. I just made my the decision to do the operation rather than the solo mission, but I didn't get any instructions. When I left the area I was locked out from re-entering and I had no mission, no map coordinates, just nothing. This was on April 28th. I informed SWTOR and was told it would be corrected with this latest patch, so I waited. After the patch, it was not repaired and I sent another ticket. I haven't heard back from SWTOR in a few days. Is their a correction coming from this?
  6. It doesn't matter to me either way, but most of my life (or at least as long as I've been able to comprehend sex) I've always assumed that Anthony Daniels was gay. I mean, I've even heard people call him a gay icon. However, just a few minutes ago I decided to do a bit of reading about the Original Cast and I found pictures of him with a woman who is said to be "Agnes Daniels - Anthony's Wife." This sort of puzzled me because, before then, I was pretty sure he was an openly gay man. Again, it doesn't matter to me (even less as I've heard some folks say that Daniels is kind of a jerk), but I'm sure you all can relate to hearing something that totally contradicts what you've believed to be true for some time.
  7. Exactly. I told that bloated, honor obsessed fool straight to his face I wanted nothing to do with his monkeyshines. I was in it for money- not continuing on some pointless tradition.
  8. Assuming in the Star Wars Universe I have the same personal philosophies I do in this one, I would be a fervently loyal Separatist. Now what I say, I say assuming I know nothing about the Sith, Sidious, and Dooku's dealings. To me in this Universe, Dooku is the political idealist who believes in a loosely bound confederacy of independent systems and that the Republic is unsalvageable. The Republic is a bloated mass of bureaucracy that stifles the individual rights of the planets that fall with in it. It is an entity that acts only to preserve itself at the cost of the individuality of each planet- Malastare is a prime example. The Republic friendly Gran occupy an already inhabited planet, and when the Native Dug rebel what does the Republic do? Intervene and side with the Gran! Who become the politicians for Malestare? Oh, look it's the GRAN! It's sick and disgusting! Also, if the Republic wasn't so trade unfriendly they probably wouldn't have driven the Corporate Alliance, Trade Federation, Commerce Guild, InterGalactic Banking Clan and the Techno Union to break away. These major Galactic players left because they felt suffocated by the incessant over regulation and bureaucratic nonsense of the Republic. Finally, I find the fact that the Republic uses priests who are supposed to be "Guardians of Peace" as military commanders to be rather unsettling.
  9. Yes, yes it does. The movie was, like you said, pretty so-so, however the writers really "find" themselves around season 2 or 3. Honestly, this series gets really good and it will actually allow you to appreciate the prequels a little bit more. After you get to the better points of the series you'll actually start to merge CW Anakin with Whiny McWhineskin from the prequels in your mind and it lessens the annoyance of Hayden Christensen. In a sense, this series allows us to actually see Anakin as the hero Ben Kenobi described him to be, furthermore you can actually see a lot of the stresses that play upon and erode Anakin's will and his emotional strength. By the end, you kind of realize that Padme's death, while traumatic, was also the straw that broke the camel's back.
  10. Is that so? Well darn. Not something to rage-quit about, but disappointing for sure,
  11. But outside is where the other people are, and the animals, and that giant yellow scare-ball!
  12. Well, that's what it feels like. I was just curious if there are any plans to expand the marriage system beyond what it is to be something a little bit more than "It's done, here's 2 emails, and let's act as if we were never married and don't love each other." I understand marriage can become monotonous, but I'd really just like to know she still loves me.
  13. The number one reason is that it makes the prequels more palatable but improving reasons and motivation.
  14. This is not mine, nor do I claim it as mine. Just thought it should be shared.
  15. Ok, So Watto said no pod is worth two slaves, so Qui-Gon gambled the pod for Anakin and won. Well, that means Qui-Gon still owned Anakin's pod, we see this later when Anakin tells Shmi they sold it. Here is what I don't get, Qui-Gon got the parts they needed for free, so what happened to the money from the pod? Lining the Jedi's pockets? Why didn't he use it to free Shmi?
  16. So we can assume that similar battles are just different battles on the same planets?
  17. Ok, I'm sure a million others are as confused as me, but I just gotta ask. What is the state of Star Wars: Clone Wars (the 2003 series) in regards to what is currently considered canon? Is the 2003 series disregarded? Do they interweave? Is the new one just erasing the old and rebuilding it +Ahsoka? Personally, I loved the 03 series. Don't get me wrong, I also love the current series but there were certain times where the 03 series, paired with dinner and good day, was simply ******ic.
  18. Well using the Chiss, Mirialans, Twi Leks, and Togruta as an example of the humanoid alien, the question is more of a personal one. Could you love a non-human?
  19. First, let me apologize if this seems redundant, there was a bit of a mixup. Originally this thread was in the General Discussion forum, but for some reason was moved to the Star Wars Discussion. There it was closed for not pertaining to Star Wars. Let me say now, that this is not about Star Wars and only uses Star Wars as an example. This thread is about you and how you feel about the notion of becoming romantically linked with an extra terrestrial. It's a rather simple question; would you engage in hanky panky with a space man? More than that? Love them? Wed them? Personally, I think I could if they were humanoid, female, (I am a heterosexual male), and I loved her. I personally would have no problem with Chiss or in the Mass Effect universe an Asari. But what about you? Are you up for tenticals? Or is the very idea revolting?
  20. My apologies if I came off homophobic, my intention was to make a joke about the state of Texas. Oh the irony of making a joke about homopobia and coming off homophobic!
  21. Xenophilic and Homosexual, better avoid Texas! My main is also a Chiss, and I intend on romancing Mako. What sparked this was my curiosity about what Mako's thoughts about loving a Chiss would be.
  22. Yes, but they have evolved into something more...alien. Ultimately it's up to you where you draw the line.
