Man, you said what I have been telling people on my server about smash guardians/juggs for a long time now. Smash seems so much worse because of all the marauders/sentinels running that spec. And, they have a few more defensive cd's that, imo, allow for more survivability. I would love seeing a smash guardian/jugg on the other team any day, instead of a bunch of smash marauders/sentinels.

Imps are definitely bad and I usually have 2-3 tionese wearing pugs on my team when I solo que, but honestly this is what a tank shadow is capable of. Smash may lead wz's in damage and give nice big hit numbers, but give me a bunch of tank shadows/assassins and that will win you more games. Just, imo though.

Smash spec may lead warzones in damage and give you big hits and such, but try guarding a node in that spec. With all the maps that require you to guard a node, i would take a team full of shadows/assassins over a team of smashers any day. For example, ancient hypergate is just ridiculous with a bunch of stealth on 1 team. Just my opinion though.

I think the negative healing is somehow related to the ability "endure pain," which temporarily increases your maximum health by 30% for 10 seconds, but after 10 seconds your additional 30% max health is gone and returns to normal max health. Don't ask me the details of it, but that's the only ability I know of that could possibly lead to negative healing.
