Hello, I`ve been playing this game since beta and since most of the old players my favorite map is Hutball. I realized some maps like Odessan Proving Ground or Civil war has significantly more chance of popping. I played like 100 games this week only 4-5 of them was Hutball. I`am wondering if you played with the ratio of warzone map pops? Me and most of the old players would like to get the original Hutball pop ratio to normal.

Hello guys, I am the GM of Impulse, I wanted to let you know that we decided to have a break from Star Wars until there is a reason to come back for.. The main reason behind this move is, the PvP player pool of Swtor community and the time limit we can do competitive PvP. I don`t like doing normals, because I don`t have anything to grind and it is basically 50% luck based, if you get good pugs or not, I often find myself frustrated. I don`t know about you but me and my team only plays this game for rated warzones, the only way to play competitive PvP. We can only play from 19.00 to 23.00 , that is if we are lucky to have teams quing. Since we don`t and won`t have cross servers, we can only play for a limited period of time, wait hours for que to pop, and nothing to do in the morning/afternoon/midnight. About the player pool, I know you might disagree but rateds are a lot different then normals, It is `very` hard to find decent players as 99% of the players we have is RP`ers, PvE`rs, casuals. We are in a situation that no good PvP guild can recruit from general chat now. Let`s say you found a great skilled player from the remaining %1 who has no experience with rateds, he will screw up as tactic wise.. You need to train him, alot. Which will end up costing you many games. Another example; Some key player doesn`t login that day, other 7 players are screwed, you cant just take somebody else and que. It`s not easy to replace people when you are playing at top level. I`ve been leading Impulse since lunch, I had over 15 teams who i played ranked with. We kept replacing players, we managed to be in the top 5 guilds since day 1, but at some point this replacing players `cycle` gets tiring. You wait all day to play ranked, some guys ditch you and you end up losing your time. You just wanna play with what you got, 2v2 -3v3- 4v4 instead of waiting, hoping for all 8 players to login at the same time.So we wanted a game with Arenas, where we can play 8v8 in the evenings, but also in the morning we can do 2v2, 3v3, whatever we wish. We just got our big patch, I know we should be exited and stuff.. But frankly, pvp wise, I am not very satisfied.. I thought 2.1 will be a huge pvp patch with ranked season 1 starting, but its just a customization patch which we have no interest in. We have nothing to look forward to but some customization and new cartel market stuff.. Long story short, we wanna play a real pvp game with arenas, with more e-peen competition. I am not saying this game is good this game is bad, I am not trying to argue, just explaining how we feel, you might feel completely differently.. We have 2 marauders in our RWZ setup, in novare coast you send your marauders inside the hutt with stealth cap. We can`t stop our tactic because our marauder is body type 1.. I`m body type 1 and you don`t see me going inside and capping ? We don`t do it to exploit the game, it is unlucky for you that we have body type 1 marauder. If we dont cap with our marauder, we should basically leave mid I guess? When character custumazation comes, he will change his body but for now, we will not be changing our tactics. Let me teach you how to prevent capping in mid dear top guild Fluffy, you assign one Aoe`r inside to interupt all the time, one melee for outside, and rest random interupts. I don`t know what you are on about `macros`but I can assure you noone in Impulse used `macros`.. Did you see one of us outdpsing other any other team? Did you see any of us out healing any other team? Well I did, and the answer is no. Our gear was so bad in compare to other teams, we needed to boost our hp by 1-2k so we can actually `play the game`, even so we got outhealed/outdpsed. Becouse even with the bolster, our stats wasn`t close to theirs - Ofcourse they might think the reason you outdpsed/outhealed us so much `even though` we used bolster is how imba players they are.. But i think that is not the case.. What I am trying to say, we needed to increase our stats to match theirs othervise it would be a total slaughter and we wouldn`t be able to test anything, we didin`t want to cheat and get more stats then them and win all the games, we were there to test new things, it was our first day on PTS, not to decide which team is best, which guild is worse. In order to test new things we need to have the same level of gear, since bioware didin`t provide us the new gear, and you spend many hours on PTS, while we spend maybe 10% of the time you spend there. So the only chance for us to even play against you, is to boost our stats to match yours, Ofcourse in time we will have the gear and get to chance to play properly.. You know none of our players had any extreme damage nor healing, so I don`t understand why it bothers you this much? Would you rather have played against a team has 24k hp while all your team is with epic augments and 30k hp? Is this what you want ? We are trying to get the new gear, but stop being such a drama queen and cut the trash talk.

We wanted to test the new tactics and which classes are good in Ranked Warzone in PTS that day, we didin`t have the latest gear and augments but we had the people to do ranked and see how it is like. Ofcourse when the oppenent team has atleast 3k+ hp and loads of other stats more than you have, there is no point playing with your outdated gear. You can`t understand if this spec is good or not cause the enemy hits you at least x1.3.. So we are sorry if we wanted to level the battlefield.. ( Ofcourse grinding the new gear and crafting new augments is the proper way to do it, but we don`t have the time to do at PTS, so we tried to - as you put it - `work around` that issue.. ) The only alternative is wait untill everyone has the latest gear and augments, but we don`t want to grind some new gear becouse Bioware fails to put PvP gear for free on a PTS server. You people talk like we had 50k hp people running around and one shotting people... Only thing `some` of our members tried to do was to get the same hp as our oppenent had, they wanted to close the `gear gap` between the teams. As i said, there is no point testing the tactics and classes with less hp and less stats at all. About the corner cap with body type 1 marauders, I personally didin`t experience such a thing before until I tried PTS ranked. Ofcourse from now on, we`ll try to be extra carefull with that.. It`s our first time experiencing this exploit, ofcourse we will be suprised and say something about it. Congratulations on grinding the new gear on PTS, nice dedication. It`s sad that Bioware didin`t put PvP gear for free, and we have to grind the gear in PTS to test the pvp balance..

Impulse will que Sunday 19.00 GMT, though we won`t have the new augments. We will not exploit any stats, we expect other proffesional teams to do the same.
