Well, I got my idea from a game called Ashen Empires, formely knows as Dransik. When one dies on AE all equipment in inventory is dropped and based on alighment you have a specific percent chance of dropping 1 equipted item. Perhaps the same could be done on here but based on Darkside/Lightside points
Heres an example of my pvp loot system idea..
I kill a player he drops everything in his inventory along with a x% chance of dropping an equipted item. I can see what he drops by clicking the body but I am unable to loot any items untill a specific ''loot timer'' runs out. The length of the loot timer depends on where the victom spawns. 3 minute minimum loot timer, 30min maximum loot timer.
Fun and thrill? Theres no thrill in engaging in PVP in this game. I don't have to worry about dieing, because theres no penalty.. I can't get excited about getting a kill.. No loot, no exp, no reward, no bonerr.
It's ridiculous.. Open world PVP is a complete waste of time. Whats the point in going out to kill someone if there no reward or risk? We need a real PVP server, the world PVP in this game is pathetic to say the least.
I agree with ya 100% brother. There is absolute 0 reward for pvping outside arena area and no penalty for dieing either. I am very disappointed with the PVP sytem in this game. Classes are fairly balanced, but no reward for getting a kill or penalty for dieing is just beyond lame.
I am a big fan of PVP loot systems.. I really wish the DEVS would consider it. I personally do not see myself playing this game for much longer if something is not done to put more spark in PVP.
