Mach 5 Massacre - In-Depth Marauder Guide
Dranmarth replied to Kibaken's topic in Sentinel / Marauder
Thanks for the replies, I've been giving Annihilation a go today, it feels weird using all my abilities in just a few cooldowns then using a filler for so long as compared to Carnage, should I be waiting a few seconds between attacks when I use Deadly saber to get better up time on the 3 stack dot? As it is the dot kinda falls off before I can use deadly saber again -

So as far as operations are concerned, is there much difference in Carnage and Annihilation? I like the flow of combat for carnage, but I don't want to hold my groups back if I'm doing subpar damage compared to another spec -
Soa NM/HM bugs
Dranmarth replied to SkyIsFallin's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
And Soa is still resetting randomly in Phase 3, just had it happen. Nice fix Bioware -
Actually, as Carnage, you'd rather have Power + Surge since you'll be critting with Force Scream 100% of the time as is, and those are made by artificers.

You start getting the gear options I think on the planet after Taris, the gear she came with will do her just fine til then.

I'm talking about the datacrons, the permanent bonus to our stats. Lots of people only get the datacrons that are useful to their class, I'm just pointing out that willpower is semiuseful, and the datacrons that give it should be picked up for a small increase to our force abilities. -

When getting the datacrons, don't forget to pick up the willpower datacrons as well, while it's not much, the bonus willpower takes me up to 130 (haven't gotten then +10 to all stats one yet) which is +26 damage and +1% crit for force attacks, again, not a big increase but it is something for us carnage marauders out there, -

So from what I'm seeing, assuming you have 100% base accuracy, 110% special attack accuracy, the best item mods (at least for gearing up for HM FPs) for moddable gear are: Hilt - Advanced Might Hilt 23 (Weapon damage 126, +48 Str, +34 End) Daily commendation vendor Armoring - Advanced Might Armoring 22 (Armor rating 124, +47 Str, +33 End) Daily commendation vendor Mod - Advanced Deft Mod 22 (+36 Str, +21 End, +27 Power) Heroic Daily Quest "Freeing the Fallen" Enhancement - Advanced Adept Enhancement 22 (+18 End, +27 Power, +39 surge) Crafted by Artificers Crystal - Advanced *color* Resonating crystal (+33 Power) Crafted by Artificers Anyone find any better then those, outside of Flashpoints and Operations, and assuming you are at the accuracy listed above? -

So the special attack accuracy is what we need to get to 110%, which means I need to drop some accuracy from enhancements from the daily quests and pickup the other dps ones, cause I'm just waiting stats by being at 116% special accuracy, got it -

When it says we should get Accuracy to 110%, does that mean base accuracy or special attack accuracy to 110%? My current base accuracy is 106.34% and my special attack accuracy is 116.34%, should I get some more accuracy or do I need to drop it 6%? -
Doing a starting zone at lvl 50 for Dark Side points?
Dranmarth replied to LMYoda's topic in New Player Help
Nope, for starting planets you can only accept quests from your personal starting planet, however at level 50, you can run BT/Esseles over and over for ~200 dark/light side points as much as you like!
