  1. I agree organization and fluency would be helpful for the new players coming along.
  2. I agree with reusing planets. There was alot of work put into building these worlds and they are a true sight. I would love it if there were storyline continuations on the planets. I really want an update on the nekgouls. I think taris is a very interesting planet to follow story wise.
  3. thats cool they need to reintroduce unique abilities back to all companions. I made a topic on it.
  4. Exactly! Honestly, I was hoping the devs would have access to some type of game data that they could review for drop rate info, activity completion time. boss encounter duration for average players. It honestly sounds pretty complicated, but I would hope it would help improve the popularity of running other flashpoints beside the basic ones like hammer station. They could also apply the daily reward section to the flashpoint subcategories, so people can have more variations in flashpoints while still getting the daily rewards.
  5. Hello devs and Swtor community. I think flashpoints should be further reorganized based on innate difficulty and the time it takes to complete them. I know we currently have veteran and master modes for the group finder but I still feel there should be increased rewards for flashpoints that take longer to complete or that are more difficult due innate enemy strength, Map size, number of enemies presents, environmental hazards, required objectives to complete in the flashpoint. So, what I'm thinking is that we should keep vet and master but have sub difficulties as well with variations on rewards. I say this because alot of times players are selecting hammer station because its the quickest and there is no incentive to complete other flashpoints because the rewards are the same across the board. For example, Hammer station should defiantly be on a lower Tier flashpoint subcategory and have reduced rewards. because of enemy difficulty and length. While say traitor among the chiss should be a higher teir with increased rewards due to enemy difficulty, longer length and the boss fights being more complex. I think this concept should be applied to both veteran and master flashpoints. Otherwise, I think some of the flashpoints should be scaled up in difficulty to be more on parr with the newer flashpoints. for example, hammer station has trash mob enemies' difficulty increased and add some more mechanics to the boss fights. Also, although it's nice to group the enemies, It's very cheesy. I feel like there should be a mechanic that prevents grouping mobs so much. For example, kaon under siege has highly aggressive enemies that have knockbacks and stuns that make it much harder to effectively group the enemies. I just feel it allows flashpoints to become to simple to deal with enemies which makes them less enjoyable and engaging. I understand some speedster will have an issue with the changes, since they are trying to get resources as quickly as possible, but I personally enjoy having to work to earn a hefty reward. I feel it is more satisfying and will keep the flashpoints from getting boring. It's fun running the harder flashpoints but as I mentioned above the reward system makes it kind of pointless. 6. Okay so they can still tweek the rewards if the traversal is more difficult. It does not have to be based of planet difficulty. I also know some of the higher tier planets require specific objectives to be completed to acquire certain datacrons so the rewards can be scaled to accommodate. Honestly this is not the save all activity for swtor. It's just an idea to help rejuvenate older content so its more appealing for everyone currently playing.
  7. There are lightsaber Pike animations for Fallen knight NPCs that we face in KOTFE/KOTET. I'm aware that pike weapons are slotted as double lightsabers for are players. I wanted to point out that if the NPC enemies could have pikes and pike animations would it be difficult to do the same for Senya. I also did make the assumption that people neglect Senya. I said I think this would increase her popularity because she would stand out more specifically due to her unique weapon and combat style. she was just an example of how the devs mirror the companions to much when her backstory could of allowed her combat kit to be more unique to her character. Again, most of this topic is to address how many of the comps are mirrored and lack unique abilities that I think would represent them better.
  8. 1. The devs can just scale rewards based on the difficulty of traversal puzzle. I think this makes sense because the datacrons tend to become more difficult and time consuming to reach on higher level planets. Even if you can do the datacrons solo I want this activity to be a way to encourage people to group up for an expedition like we use to in the old days. I think increasing your rewards by having a larger group is a good incentive and should also encourage Shepards to help the new players. especially since the Shepards won't be receiving a stat increase. If you decided to complete the mission solo you wont be awarded as well as for completing it with a group. 2. I don't know how difficult or time consuming it would be, but I think this could be resolved if the devs could just disable flagship summons on the specific environment routes that lead to the datacrons. Also specifically disable summons that will land players directly on the datacrons location.
  9. Having the same issue. Got logged out due to inactivity and can't get back on any server
  10. Honestly, I like this idea. I remember embarking on datacron hunts was very enjoyable. I think it be a good idea to have it be a weekly planet mission which gives greater rewards with a bigger group. I think the only way you should be able to complete the mission is if all your team members make it to the datacrons location and do a group interaction to access the datacron. The DEVs really could do anything for rewards. They could give credits, isotopes, tech fragments, golden ember stuff. Again i think to encourage groups or guild hunts the rewards should definitely scale fairly well with more players in the group. This way players who already have it can act as Shepards and still be rewarded with something valuable. The new players should should be encouraged more to go on hunts with the additional rewards and help from Shepards. should be worthwhile group activity. Id like to see this in game.
  11. Hello, I think a great feature to add to the game, would be to give us Customizable loadout abilities to apply to our companions. My reasons for this will be listed below. 1. I Think it would help with how stale and mirror imaged most of our companions are. I am not asking for the damage to be significantly different per ability or for the number of abilities to increase, but I think the animations should be more diverse. I think this would add some flashiness to the companions and make the overall experience playing with those companions more unique and enjoyable. Yes, this is a call back to Kotor 1 and Kotor 2 in regards how you could build them as you leveled with them. (If the DEVS could keep add more abilities to the companions while keeping them balance I think this would also work as solution) 2. In regard to the loadout aspects, I do not think abilities should be able to cross roles. Ex. equipping healing abilities with DPS abilities. as I see this disrupting the balancing update the devs created for the companions. I however do Think we should be able to create ability loadouts that prioritize them as AOE or SINGLE target companions. Sometimes I feel like the companions AOE ability and Execute abilities are very worthless. As the companions are not programed to use abilities on the most affective enemies. EX. Companions will AOE a single target enemy over a larger group that is not near them. Companions will waste execute on trash enemies instead of basic attacking them. over an enemy with a greater amount of HP that you would want to take down more quickly. Yes, I am aware we have the attack! companion option but those abilities are pretty much casted in an instant and put on 20sec cooldowns. I also Don't think most players would like to manage their companions to this extent all the time. This is why I think it would be beneficial if we could prioritize their abilities to be more suited our combat preference. I would prefer to have a companion with numerous AOE abilities which are more readily available (shorter cooldowns). Then one AOE ability the companion will most likely flop. It wouldn't be such a flop if there was another AOE ability! I am also aware that we do have companions with more diverse abilities. EX. SHAE, HK-51, Amity, Altuur with in my opinion Alturr and HK-51 being the most flashy or unique. There are however a lot of OG companions even from the KOTET expansion that are still very mirrored and bland. I would like to see a greater amount of our companions to be blessed with a combat variation update. 3. Also at this point they should let our companions be equipped with different weapon classes. I really don't see why the Jedi/sith companions shouldn't be able to have a choice in equipping either Double bladed, duel wield, single, or pike. for example, Senya is trained to use a lightsaber pike and I know there are lightsaber pike animations in game, but she is unable to equip pike lightsabers, nor does she have pike fighting animation. It does not make a lot of sense. I think if she had these unique aspects, it would increase her popularity and more people would use her as a companion. 4. Same applies to non-force users. let them equip assault cannons, sniper rifles, blaster rifles, or duel wields blasters. If you don't like just use their standard weapon class. 5. Also If you like the topic! check out my other topic https://forums.swtor.com/topic/931983-rework-of-uprisings-2player2companion-activity/ I would like more endgame content to involve our companions more since I think their underused when you reach in endgame. I think these two topics would complement each other if they are implemented. So fellow swtor players if think this is a good idea and like to see this possible be implemented, please like, share, or put your own feedback with Pros and cons so the devs take notice. See you in game! -Dawson
  12. LOL to each their own I like have NPC's it appropriate areas it makes the worlds seem more ALIVE.
  13. I understand where your coming from, but this is where the story went. However, everyone other force user class does have a story connection to the emperor I think its just how deep your looking at it. The non force users are the worst off immersion wise, which is why I want the dev to throw them a bone. Its not perfect but I think it would help alot of players who main non-force users keep their immersion going through the expansion.
  14. Is there any chance we are heading in the route where the alliance can be a total separate faction that does not need to corporate with the republic or Empire? I think it would be cool if we could get different parties to form alliances with the eternal alliance. Like on mannan I feel like there should of been an option to I also think it would be cool if there was a resource system introduced. where could gather raw goods to help fund the alliance and create its own unique fleet. I was really expecting that the alliance could stand on its own and be more focused to rebuilding its own forces but still aid the republic or the empire as an ally.
  15. Hello community and devs.
