My LS warrior romanced Vette in vanilla then re-started the romance with Vette in KotFE.

Having the same issues in North America. I don't have access to a VPN... EDIT: Restarted launcher and it works fine now.

I was also put off a bit by Valkorian's sudden switch in attitude toward my Outlander. Prior to this he seemed calm and didn't exactly threaten to kill the Outlander for not using his power. So far I have played chapter XII with my JK and SW, the former of which used Valkorian's power once and the latter of which did not use it at all. It also seemed like the confrontational tone between my Outlanders and Valkorian was a little sudden, though I could understand Valkorian's frustration. I'm very curios to see how this chapter plays out with an Outlander who both kneels to Valkorian then uses his power at every opportunity.

In my opinion the sage fits better because I feel that the Jedi Consular is played out as a diplomat and a peacemaker while the shadow is more of an infiltrator. The sage battles the dark side by bringing an end to conflict peacefully while a shadow fights the dark side with some of its own methods.

I think we have yet to see the full ramifications of this choice. The next chapter seems to be centered around Valkorian so I have a feeling we will see something related to both whether or not your character knelled in chapter I, and how many times we used Valkorians power.

Well my JC fell victim to the Lana romance bug so it looks like he will be staying loyal to his wife Nadia after all.

I played through chapter 8 before the aforementioned patch with my JC who romanced Lana in SoR and flirted at every opportunity in KotFE. I just recently finished chapter 9 and was not able to select the flirt option in the cantina and thus could not lock in the romance with Lana. Is this being changed deliberately to accommodate the return of pre-expansion LIs? Is the lock-in point going to be later in the story?

I have a feeling that the "default" Jaesa will be DS. With only warriors that kept her LS getting that version of her.

I think I read somewhere on Wookiepedia or something that Leia's memory of Nata...I mean Padme was explained by some force vision/dream she had regarding her mother. Keep in mind that Leia only seems to remember that her mother was very beautiful.

When watching this cutscene on my agent I cringed a little when I heard a lightsaber sound when my agent shot Valkorian.

But thats only because the devs don't want us to be able to dismiss companions...

Or what if our other characters could be recruited as companions? Would that be too weird? I already have a headcannon where my male human IA sniper and my female Chiss operative were assigned together on Hutta and ended up becoming permanent partners, with my operative basically taking the place of Kaliyo Djannis since both of them would want nothing to do with her.

Would be even cooler if they could be OUR characters. Maybe a system for importing them like in Mass Effect 2 would be too much for the devs to do but this is basically how my headcannon works.

Anyone who falls on the trooper side of this argument should probably go play the Jedi Knight series on Steam, particularly Jedi Knight: Jedi Acadamy. In Jedi Acadamey you can fight a Sith with all sorts of weapons but 99% of the time the higher level SIth will counter them: blaster bolts are deflected by a lightsaber; grenades and rockets are thrown back by the force; even the disruptor rifle (which fires a fast moving beam that cant be deflected) will be dodged by most of the Sith enemies.
