  1. My point still stands. You are arguing against the inclusion of sgr on the grounds that most players won't benefit from it, yet you're happy to delay makeb, knowing that most players will get the expansion, thus denying most players the benefit of everything included in makeb.
  2. What you're doing there is saying you want all players who are buying makeb to wait for it, until you get what you think the game needs. I'm betting the majority of players will be getting makeb, so what's it to be? You say sgr shouldn't be in because it doesn't benefit the majority of players, but you'd deny the majority of players everything makeb has, so they can develop things like pazakk?
  3. I bet you'll get new ops and new warzones before the give us sgr companions.
  4. And they will also add hood toggles at some point, new space at some point, new ops, new story, new pets, new warzones, new this and new that. Things take time, not everyone gets their number 1 priority first. Sgr with companions is a long way off, so it seems. I'm betting we get alot more other stuff before they give us sgr companions.
  5. Important to you of course. There are players out there that have a different set of priorities than you. Not everyone gets what they want, when they want. The pro sgr players have been thrown a small bone, after a year of waiting. Also, the pro sgr players also want bug fixes, also want hood toggle, speech bubbles, more story, etc. it's not like they say, we want sgr, everything else can wait.
  6. The problem with this way of thinking is that you could potentially never see something added. When do you stop and say, ok let's add some stuff that I don't want, but other players do. You're also making the assumption that a very small amount of players will benefit, and the truth is that nobody knows how many will benefit. I could just as easily say most players will benefit. The other thing about the precedance argument is that people are assuming that bioware have stopped working on the other things, which of course, they have not. The ONLY sgr content coming with makeb is npc flirts. Is that really a huge amount of work that bioware has undertaken? In reality, no.
  7. I see your point. However there are all kinds of different players in the game. Some have similar priorities, some have different priorities. Bioware can't stick to one priority, and ignore another. Everyone will get something they want, but it takes time. Sgr is something they aren't even prioritising ATM, but have made the decision to throw pro sgr players a bone. It's npc flirts, not companions. In the grand scheme of things, it's a pretty small bone.
  8. The interesting thing to me is whether the missions take you all the way up to lvl55, or if you'll have to do a bit of grinding exp. If they don't then I will assume it was a content patch, and they stuck the lvl increase in there to call it an expansion.
  9. What I don't understand is why they keep posting in threads with subject matter they don't like. I tend to not open a thread on things I'm not interested in, and if I do, I rarely post in that thread. Yet some of these guys can't keep away from the sgr threads. It's like an obsession, but as you pointed out, without them posting so much, the threads would disappear quicker.
  10. I've read many threads basically saying its a scam. Surely they can all be combined?
  11. There's one thread in lore, and one in general. Now count how many threads there are regarding space, cartel market, life day, makeb...
  12. Doesn't matter if they work for bioware now, or not. When a representative of a company speaks about what that company is going to do, they speak on behalf of the company. I thought everyone knew that.
  13. I'm not saying sgr is in all games, I'm saying bioware are known for including them in their games, have done, and have said they will in this game. Yes, things change, but they haven't said they aren't anymore. Until they say yes or no, people will still ask. If you've got a problem with people asking for updates, then sorry, but that's your problem.
  14. When I speak for myself, then yes, it's about my rights. What's wrong with that?
  15. You're perfectly within your rights to think whatever you want.
  16. Firstly, I'm not demanding anything. I do not think I'm special. I think I'm normal, and I'd like to be treated the same. It's you who is missing the point, and sadly, I don't think you will ever see it.
  17. If someone wants to start a thread about droid romance, then let them. What I'm saying is that this thread is about sgr, and people should not post about other kinds of romance in it, linking them. Like I said, there's nothing stopping them from posting their own thread. Is that so hard to understand?
  18. I can only speak for myself, but I don't want to be treated any differently than anyone else. I'm not special, I just want the same options. As for the wookiees love, droid love, I will say this again. It's not linked to being gay. As far as I know, there are gay people, bi people, and straight people. To cater to straight and gay alike encompasses everyone. Anything else is a subject for another thread.
  19. Show me a thread that was started by someone asking for these things. Show me where bioware have included it in other games. Show me where they said they would include it.
  20. I can live with someone thinking I'm a hypocrite.
  21. Threads about hood toggle, space, pvp revamp, etc, keep popping up too.
  22. The context of why they mentioned it is what I'm getting at. It happens in all sgr threads. It tries to put sgr in the same camp as ********ity, or people that have a thing for inanimate objects. It's wrong to do so.
  23. I think you missed my point. To put it simply, straight people are just as likely to be into things like ********ity, or droid "love", or cross dressing, etc, than gay people, If not moreso, due to percentages, yet people bring up things like that in these sgr threads, because they want to make sgr look freakish.
  24. Yup, of course they can. Everyone has different priorities, we're all different. Nowt wrong with that.
