Who cares if it goes against the SW cannon or what is natural or unnatural. ITS A VIDEO GAME!!! Anything is possible. Is there anyone out there playing this game to have fun? Or is it just another job for some of you? Seriously it's time to remove rod from *** and be open to new imaginative ideas! Since when do video games only cater to uptight people? I guess I missed that memo. Break some rules! Be open! BE FREE! Besides, you can toggle Sith corruption on and off, what would be stopping you from doing the same as a light sider or non-force user? It's only fitting everyone gets a character customization for their deeds even if its say an emote. Does everyone have to walk around with a blank on their faces all the time? When you are happy or do good does your expression remain neutral? If you ask me its unnatural when feeling good to not visibly show it. Then again, I'm not a robot.
Actually it's a big deal if it goes against SW canon. When you are working with a licensed product (such as Star Wars) you are limited to what is allowed within that universe. And if LucasArts decides they don't like what you have done with their license they can take it away and then there would be no more SWTOR.

You can add already made characters but I did have to load into each character before they would appear on the tree. I assume it was because I made them before the family tree existed.

Right now the child can be from 1 parent or the other, as though they brought in the child from another relationship.

I got the free 30 days too so I know your excitement. And for everyone who didn't have a lvl 50 they expanded the deal so now you just need Legacy Level 6 or a Level 50 AND you have until the 22nd to achieve one of those 2 things.

What's the point?
There is a bunch of new class restricted bind on legacy gear found in new vendors. What's the point of this? If it's Bind on Legacy, I can share it with my other characters on my account but because its Class Restricted gear, that's only useful if I'm leveling the same exact class a second time.
Am I missing something, here? How is this useful?
You were supposed to send the Weapon Construction Kit thing to the character you wanted the item for and redeem it with that character, not with your main

Someone said that their Guild Repair Funds are still working which means that information is still saved even if you can't access the Guild Bank. So it should be alright

You can do that. For each bar you select the menu options can change. For hotbars, select the bar and then you can change # of slots on the bar and Slots Per Row. Slots per row is what you want to change them from Vertical to Horizontal or for that matter make them rectangular or square.
Before you complain about something make sure you have investigated all of it to make sure what you want REALLY isnt there.

Since right now they don't allow mods of any kind, no there is no program.
It's a future possibility I'm sure.

As you have all seen there has been TONS of debate about Dual Speccing and AC Speccing and some people think they are the same. Some people think that the Advanced Class is not a class but a Spec.
So here is my suggestion:
When creating the character you are instructed Select Story Arch. This would be Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Smuggler, Trooper, Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter. Once you finish the intro zone and you go to the fleet you are then instructed to Select Your Class. Then you would pick Sith Assassin or Sith Sorcerer as an example.
I think this would help to avoid a great deal of confusion and arguing in the future.

the replies in this thread shows that starwar fanboys don't care about performance as long as it's starwars. They will tell people how smooth their game is running at 10 fps.

Anyways, this was the start of the 2h stress test yesterday (amazing) and TERA comes out May 1st. If you pre-order it you can get into all beta events immediately.
Can your MMO handle that many players at one time Proto? Nah, I'm sure the MMO you designed is much better

Hello, I purchased SWTOR a month or so ago, thinking the game was finished and playable (like many others), but it soon became apparent that the game is not yet finished and still in a Beta like state. I would just like an estimation of when the game will be finished? By finished I mean when will the game be playable for a full hour with no significant bugs or glitches.
Basically I'm wondering when the game will be up a state where a normal/competent company would release the game.
I'm playing it right now, and it's fantastic.

our companions need to use a wider range of weapons instead of just one kind.
the ones that can use vibroswords..need to use techblades and techstaves too
those that use blaster rifles... need to use cannons too
also can we please get a preview of weapons in the preview window?
It would be nice but as it is people are Need rolling for something their companion could use when Player characters can use it.
It would be even worse if their companions had more of a selection for them to roll need on.

If you do a lot of PVP you can get a Black/Red crystal or a Black/Blue crystal. Similar Color scheme

This is right, the same column that says Guild Rank by default can also show you Last Played if you click the little arrow at the column header.
