  1. Well I haven't played this game since a few days after 1.2, and before that i was unsubbed after the first two months. I just stopped by today cause d3 is down for maintenance and I am a star wars fan. There are plenty of reasons why i unsubbed, here are the top ones! 1. Game engine is crap! Really long load times that increased with every patch and horrible fps was the killer for me! 2. Unfinished product, when i came back for 1.2 i thought that the state of the game was what it almost should be at launch! 3. The development team! They seemed to care more about catering to "the pvp" types out there whining about everything under the sun. They made rash decisions and made the wrong ones in my eyes! 4. Lack of foresight! Besides the awesome coop story driven game that is SWTOR, there is not much else here to brag about! What a roller coaster space shooter? that was a joke and way repetitive! It was fun, but i think i would of put a quarter maybe two into that game and moved on. End game Pve? That was lack luster at best! might have been better if they would of chosen the game engine a little better. Not to mention, the bugs, rage timers, mechanics that my 5 yr old could figure out.....then there was the ccrafting, really one type of crafting was viable at end game....all in all it was a good coop space shooter game. a mmorpg i think not! 5. boredom! ok i played through the story, I am now level 50 so what to do? maybe end game raids....buggy, lack luster, and well not very exciting to me. maybe end game pvp? world pvp..non existant. warzones? by definition doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity! not too mention an asinine amount of cc, and the "fad" of making dps classes more and more powerful. If i wanted to not control my character in a fight i watch someones stream on twitchtv and just think its mine and what i could have done. Ok i got it, I could play another class to 50 and enjoy its story. Well the game has been out 6months, and I can't remember a damn thing about any of the characters stories that i played. I can tell you about a lot of novels I have read in my lifetime, or movies I have watched. there are a ton of memorable moments. Swtor just didn't have any for me. anyways just wanted to throw my reason in here! Being a star wars fan for most my life, I really wish this game would have been better. I did enjoy the first three weeks of course, but all in all the game was not anywhere near as good as the "hype", nor was it good as a mmorpg in general.
  2. but i just don't feel like I am in a star wars game! Sure there are light sabers! and everyone shoots rays out of there weapons! The hype on this game was awesome, and well I did enjoy a few things along the way to top level, but not much after that. 1.0 = disaster out of the gate 1.1 = disaster out of the gate 1.2 = disaster out of the gate it seems like every patch they put in they are getting real close to what the game should of been at launch, but it also seems like the developers haven't a clue about what they need to do to make this game awesome! So instead of sitting around playing the game and waiting for new features to come, I get to sit around the game and wait for them to implement **** that should of already been there! My suggestion to anyone reading this post and thinking about coming back after 1.2 would be not to! The whole "legacy" 1.2 patch is sub par! You should wait for 2.2 in another 2 years til the game has plenty of end game content, and all the features they talked about doing in the previous years of hype from the devs is actually in game. As for me, i stopped after the first two months, then came back for 1.2! Which was a bad decision on my part! Though i'll take the good with the bad, the good being not to play this bad game! Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome single player game or it should of been a single player game, maybe coop! Though as a mmorpg, it falls short of the desired level of game play I have come to expect since everquest in 1999! yeah that's right since I been playing games like this for over a decade, the desired level of gameplay should be better! On a side note, diablo III, is already preordered and the beta weekend was fun. I am really looking forward to the 15th of this coming month! Just from the beta I can tell the "desired level of gameplay" is better than the previous versions and on par or better with that genre of games! Pace out ya'all! Have fun playing your Space Warrior The Old Reblahblah!

    a little frustrated.

bump, so devs and have a chande to read this
  4. I am not sure how much longer I will continue to pvp at all in this game. I play as a scoundrel and no I never played the op "kill you in 3 secs before you could move scoundrel", I play a healer because I like to support the team! that being said, thanx for the nerf on my already terrible damage! I do however have a little survivability if I am in a team environment. 1 v 1 I can stalemate and stay alive from anyone attacking me for 3 minutes! Unless they are one of the hundred imps that farmed wz's for a month killing lowbies and have already been promoted to battlemaster status and out gear me because I chose to do both pvp and pve content on a rp-pve server. On a side note, why the hell is there like 4 pvp guilds on the imp side on my server? You ******* too scared to play on a pvp server? there are a couple of reasons to not continue to pvp! and not many to continue. #1 huttball...do you realize when you changed huttball to random players from both sides to imp vs repub out of beta that you enabled the overplayed imp side to gear up for battle against the repub and never even have to play them. This was the worst mistake you could ever had made! This error in judgement is a costly one! #2 gear progression.....I guess I am lucky, though we are out geared and out manned on my server, we have some good repub players and when we are on we manage to win our fair share even against the overwhelming gear advantage imp players have due to reason #1! I do manage to get my dailies and weeklies done. For christ's sake though, could you make the random bags atleast contain a token for any piece of armor i might need? I don't need 5 pieces of headwear. I only have one head! So after I earn my 13th bag for the week and i get a token for a piece of gear, I can feel like my time spent was productive and not a waste of my time. #3 illum dailies...which one of you thought to put pve objectives into a pvp quest? This is the dumbest idea yet, and my friends and self included can't stand to run around collecting armaments off the ground. Like i said before, I do manage to get my daily and weekly done on my server, but since its 4 to 1 vs we the 1. This illum area blows chunks! let me explain why. On our server we have success against the imperial cockroaches! When I say cockroaches, I am not putting down the imp side nor its players, I am merely trying to portray the situation. 12 of us run into illum and kill the 14 imp that are there. (14 armaments) They regroup and attack us, we kill the 16 imps that came back.(2 armaments) they regroup and kill us, all 24 of them. but we get some shots in and maybe get 8 armaments! We regroup and attack the imps which is now usually 2 to 1 at least (2 armaments maybe more) So you see in this example, they multiply like cockroaches! though my daily is done or i have to come back later and farm a few off the ground, my group quits cause its near impossible to kill against double the players and be out geared as well(see reason one) could you cap the area to only allow so may of each side in at a time? We are gaining more and more 50's, but with the situation how it is we are also losing good players. Please bioware, could you get your **** together! before all of pvp on my server is gone and a distant memory...or should i say nightmare! ps. this is too bioware, I could care less if you are repub or imp and or agree or disagree with me. I also could care less what class you play! I was on the phone with customer support for other reasons and during my conversation, the customer service rep asked me how everything is going and we had a nice long conversation about some issues in the current build of this game! He actually agreed with me on a lot of issues! So I came here to give my two cents on this issue in hopes that someone there might read it. and in hopes that they might do something so I may continue to play and enjoy the game more!
  5. First off I would like to say I am a 46 scoundrel / healing spec I can hold my own against most anything out there! Except the too frequent buff stacker / expertise freak! With the all too common full squads of 50's with full guardian gear. I quit playing pvp and pve all together. Hopefully the patch will let me play again, cause i have been screwed for a week now of playing my main. three reasons why! 1) ability lag w/ above reasons. 2) i could suffer thru the problems and probably hit 50 and have a chance at some armor, but this is the worst time sync in the game, with the state of pvp as it is. or 3) I can go pve and hit 50 pretty quickly and then the patch puts me against all geared 50 pvp and i still have the same time sync. my only choice was to wait for the patch so i could enjoy a little pvp and have a better chance of gearing up so i can maybe enjoy pvp in the 50's bracket! So I play an alt char to enjoy the story of a different class, but my main just sits by a mailbox and wastes away. Now I get why people want to get stronger armor while pvp'n, they want some kind of reward. In turn so they don't have to work as hard anymore in pvp. But lets face it, with three battlegrounds that are totally pointless pursuits, having rewards for doing pointless activities is not only pointless but downright stupid. Now if there was an actual point to these endless pointless repetitive warzones, I might understand why you think a reward is necessary. BUT THERE IS NO POINT! This reward system is on par with a level 10 flashpoint you can run over and over and over again til ya have the best gear in the game. In this flashpoint you may encounter higher level mobs, but your damage and health will get boosted if ya do, so not too worry just keep running the same place in the game til ya are ungodly powerful with the armor ya can acquire here. Especially against anyone else who sees them for what they are! (a mild distraction on par with space combat.) The only rewardable pvp game play should be open world pvp and it should be harder than hell to obtain these rewards, especially when they give so much of an advantage over casual players. Then when i see someone with this insane expertise advantage, atleast i know he earned it. a disgruntled customer, somtin
