I think the wardrobe system theat was featured in Rift is by far the best I've seen personally. Would love to have something similar in The Old Republic. Where you can wear a piece of clothing/armour with no stats that looks how you want and then use the stats of your choice from w/e piece of clothing/armour you wish. Cos lets face it, in near enough all RPG's the best stats are usually for the most stupid and non matching items! haha

So I finally give in to their stupid "solution" and made a new character on a different server. Things seem ok and I get to level 7 when bam, i lose connection every 1-2mins making it impossible to play. So thanks, thanks a lot, I go from one server with 5+hr queue, to one that can't keep a connection! Oh and no, its not my internet. The older server once I was in I never had any problems like that!!!!!!!

AGREED 1000x over, And stop telling me to just make a new character! Not an acceptable solution. Either have it sorted (especially before official release) or give me a refund.

I've been complaining about this for 3 days now. You can't imagine my relief now that there is some serious uproar about it! Hopefully our cries will finally get noticed.

you would have thought, considering how much money EA/BW have spent on this game, that any kind of game breaking problem would be a high priority. However, despite this being a huuuuuuuuuuge game breaking problem, they just seem to be ignoring it. Out of sight out of mind? Somehow I don't think so.

yup, im on the same server. 5+ hours is my longest. I ended up playing BF3 most of the day yesterday whilst I waited in the queue.

a valid argument. I have been waiting god knows how many years for this, and its things like this that will destroy this game to the point that it'll never recover. Ofc the thought of EA spiraling into a ton of debt due to a huge loss thanks to this game failing is somewhat of a silver lining.

AGREED! Just making a new character is not a valid solution! Yeah sure, they can argue that we haven't been paying to play and therefore don't have a leg to stand on, but what happens release day? When we are paying. Do they honestly think ignoring this problem is going to somehow fix it when 1000's more join us? Stop telling us to just make a new character and fix your mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many things they can at least try to fix the issue. But instead they only seem interested in sending out more waves of invites and getting more people, which is just making it even worse!!!!

Maybe if they spent more time and money on the important parts of an mmo, like servers, and backend, than on voice acting.... FED. UP. :/

Even if there were light populated servers, thats no acceptable solution! I'm sure there are many like me who don't want to have to start all over again. And as they expect us to start paying a subscription for this soon, we shouldn't have to lose all our progress so far!!!!

Very true! But at least on other servers there are some moments where you can get in easy. TOFN is always like this I just wanna plaaaaay!

They don't just need to sort a time limit DC'd before having to wait at the back of a queue, but actually sort out the queues themselves! I'm guessing there's a fair few people on here who made the mistake like me and chose Tomb Of Freedon Nadd as a server to play on!

wow, guess im not playing tonight either. 2hrs 20min expected wait, gonna be more like 5hrs again then. And as I actually have a life, I have to be up early tomorrow so don't have the time to be up all night! SORT IT OUT!
