  1. Everywhere I go in game, If I mention my ideas for the speeders, the whole thing is applauded. Modable speeders, vehicle physics, these things would be staggeringly welcome in the game. Take it one step further and add those cosmetic modifiers to the vehicles and either encourage player run speeder racing circuits, or add a racing system such as dailies and such into the game and you have yourself what is virtually an expansion pack.
  2. I'm sure someone else out there thinks the top tier powers for powertechs are a little screwy, Thermal detonator is iffy, I do better aoe damage with dart. Heat blast is pretty worthless as well, I have a suggestion, why not, since the shield is the mainstay of the shield tech, provide a shield burst top tier attack? Aoe shield burst could also release heat and generate a large amount of aggro. Perhaps it could have a stacking damage buff based on how often you have shielded an attack, or how much heat you have built up. Immolate IMO belongs in pyrotech, that's just obvious. Thermal detonator belings in it's roll as an advanced single target higher damage version of exploding dart. Anyone else think that Prototype Weapon Systems is redundant to the ST Flame surge? PTWS - Increases the critical strike damage bonus of rocket punch, flame burst and immolate by [10%/20%/30%] Flame surge -Increases the critical strike damage bonus of rocket punch and flame sweep by [15%/30%] PTWS should add bonus crit damage to retractable blade, or flame thrower being those are the attacks that are unique to the AP.
  3. Yeah, that sounds like a legitimate idea man. Guild Flag Ships would be a nice thing for guild community. An on-going project for everyone to work on. Flag ship raids would be fantastic, they had this whole idea work perfectly in city of heroes. If everyone used... gathering skills, or even crafting skills to produce flagship upgrades, decorations, themes? Hang trophies on the walls. I remember it was just damn fun to make and hang out in the "hideout" you made in city of heroes. Also defending it and showing it off to friends.
  4. You know, if this all comes through, I wouldn't be against you all putting up a picture of me in every race track to praise and thank me for shouting loud enough for this to be heard! A statue would work too But we can cross that bridge if we come to it. Keep up the support, and maybe we will!

I'm sure all that needs to be said has not been said, I would like to hear more words on this subject from everyone willing to pitch in! for one, back on the subject of paint jobs and guild insignia's, I think there are some areas where free for all pvp exists, how fantastic would it be to be able to rep your guild by sporting guild logos, having "territory" disputes
  6. Haha, hell yeah, imagine - Nar Shad with the under networks brimming with speeder racers from all over the galaxy, speeder gangs betting, all the vice a city like nar nar needs.

  8. I do not have an OP/scound and I feel fine and passionate about preventing this chop shop nerf from being done the way it's currently intended to be. Frankly it's a matter of experience, I can see a stinker of a nerf a mile away. Acid blade is really the only thing that lets these classes come close to taking on heavy armor tanks, and me personally, I rarely get jumped because I spam stealth scanners like crazy and generate a lot of aoe. If I know it's coming i can take preventive measures and avoid the initial strike all together at which point the OP/scound has virtually no chance of dealing with me without the appropriate bursts of damage. This nerf will make me scoff at their alpha attacks, I'm a bounty hunter that would simply cast them aside like a puff of smoke if they attacked me and couldn't do real damage in their first attacks.

  11. Id like it to be known that Me and my guild support a better solution to the 1.1.1 patch's nerf of the OP/Scoundrel. The Durasteel Desperados of Ajunta Pall are outraged for our members that are being nerfed improperly. The pendulum always swings too far when radical nerfs are applied based on "majority" hate. I only ask that the developers tread carefully and nerf gently, until a happy medium is met. Edit: I've played some games in the past that had a system that provided diminishing returns on critical rating and severity, I haven't tested completely for swtor but skill tree buffs don't seem to diminish for individuals with already high crit/surge rating. Though this involves more complicated mathematical systems in the game, if the crit damage buffs in the skill trees were more potent for people with naturally low crit ratings, and less so for those with very high crit we may see a balance occur. I think secondary attributes - alacrity - surge - power, ect do have diminishing returns however? At least in the sense that stacking them past a point returns very little added effect in return.

Now you see, I thought about weapons on them but that just seems to demand a huge new mechanic for the game, no doubt it would be fun, but who would leave their vehicles to fight But you know what might work? Speeder weapons free zones, areas for the purpose of getting in fights while mounted. Dune sea by itself would be good for that. I see some problems but We could weigh the consequences as: You will move faster than unmounted fighters, have extra armor/health whatever, you risk a hefty bill when breaking your expensive ride but in open world pvp I imagine people would own in spite of the risk. Or Speeders with weapons, a different mini game all together Perhaps pull/push ect... Dismounts from speeders... Honestly it sounds complicated in the general world play... I think fancy, unarmed, customized transportation is the more In tune concept for now. The thought of what would happen with speeder guns in the open world sounds fun, like the game Auto Assault i mentioned earlier, yet simultaneously terrifying with the consequences of releasing a bunch of "bigger model" level 50 only armed speeders on the general public... Yikes.
  14. Hehe, Interesting idea, creating consumable speeders, perhaps something of a consequence in open world pvp, Or hell just require speeders to be repaired just like armor? I also liked the idea I saw earlier about armor, engine, flair mods. It would be fun if there were mod able points on your speeder such as... spikes, lights, logos, effects, PAINT JOBS, a Flag on the back with Guild Insignia's would be welcome even if that sounds a little much like Guild Wars, it's about guild pride, and sexy speeders I Imagine they're probably working on Armor paint jobs in later updates, a nice addition to that would be speeders. Even for people who aren't reading this post, or people who haven't imagined such things in their game, I doubt anyone would say that paint jobs and speeder decorations were a terrible idea that should have never been put in the game. Though I guess someone will always find a reason Concepts to be dreamed about today - Perhaps implemented another day. With enough support it could happen! For now of course the games got bigger issues to deal with than beautifiers.
