Hey guys, vanguard is all about utility in my opinon. I have tried full Assault Spec and Full Shield Spec, they both have their merits. I'm looking at this build, When i'm full shield spec I just feel like I can't enough damage, and I like having a DoT ability. I would be using Ion Cell with this build http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801hMGrboroMZMsZbIb0z.1 This could be modified to include "High Friction Bolts" in assault spec, does that talent stack with "Focused Impact"? meaning high impact bolt could bypass 90% of armor

I was thinking about this, wouldn't it make sense for like a full darkside jedi to defect to the sith, and vica versa? Could be an interesting game mechanic. The classes are all mirrored so you wouldn't end up with any game breaking imbalance. Thought the trooper storyline there were points where I thought it would make sense to be able to defect to the other side.

Interstingly enough there is a vendor who sells this yellow-black crystal but she only sells the original versions... and its the only item this vendor sells. Pretty big oversight by the Devs not like it would be hard to throw some upgraded stats onto a crystal and use the already present "Pre-Order Crystal Vendor"
