Hi. I'm currently level 39 and was thinking about gong Lethality when I hit 40. I've tried Lethality one time before, but without Weakening Blast (which I consider a game changer, correct me if I'm wrong) and a healing companion I found myself dying. Alot.
So I need some advice on talents from you guys, preferably other Operatives who play Lethality above level 40. Seeing as I plan on spending my time in PvP PvE with this spec, since BW hasn't implemented dual spec, it will include talents to benefit both branches.
I'm planning my talents now because, heh, well, I can't really afford to respec more than once now. I've spent my 30s trying out different hybrids and stuff, and the cost just went sky high. Kinda embarrasing to admit that I'm soon out of credits, so please don't ask me where it all went. I'm a sucker for stuff I don't need.
Anyway: This is my current plan: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#401ZZhrrodrGdho.1
So here we go:
- Flash Powder. Does the accuracy debuff make it worth having? Furthermore, is it applied when the poison or themselves break the mez?
- Lethal Injectors. Are the three seconds worth a point?
- Been thinking about dropping one/two points in Combat Stims. Inputs please?
- Might skip one point in Lethal Purpose, in order to reduce Shield Probe cooldown (since I imagine this along with Evasion is the primary survival abilities?) Any thoughts on this?
- In PvP is it worthwhile to consider a couple of points into Counterstrike, to break CC? Do you find yourself using it a lot? Or is the reduced cooldown on Escape enough?
(- Escape Plan, already mentioned. Worth having for surviving?)
And, yeah, that's about it. Anything else you would like to add to the playstyle?
I'm thinking, to ease my playstyle, I'd like to replace my Overload Shot hotkey with Weakening Blast, to save energy, and also since it amplifies the core abilties. In addition, I might drop Carbine Blast as well, in order to use my Tactical Advantage on Cull. Suggetions?
Am I entirely wrong about some of this?
All help appreciated!
