Celladom was correct. I just tried it and confirmed that it does indeed work. In the original shuttle hanger you arrive to coruscant in...go up the stairs and you'll see two large wires set at a diagonal. You can run right up either one and as soon as you touch the ceiling you'll discover the spaceport.
