Hi everyone, I just started playing again after several months away. My BH is my primary character and is at lvl 55. The first thing I did upon logging on was head to the Cartel Bizarre to get in on some Bounty Hunting. The Great Hunt was my favorite part of the game. But while the voice actor appears to be the same, all these new lines were being spoken with what sounded like a lisp. At first, I thought perhaps it was just something specific to that exchange and he was disguising his voice but it has continued for all the new content. I have not yet tested it with old content. Was this intentional? Did the voice actor acquire a lisp or something? It's a little jarring to have that change to my character's voice. Has this happened to anyone else or do I have the strangest bug ever?

I just went through this too....new drivers are not recognized by TOR and the game will not launch....re-installing previous drivers now. EDIT: Ok...I had to revert all the way back to Dec 21 209.53 drivers (2 back from current drivers) in order for SW:TOR to recognize my system as compatible. Confirmed that 295.51 and 295.73 are not currently recognized by the client as compatible (at least on my pc) Once I re-installed 209.53 the game launched normally.

I also experienced this and stopped doing them from about 40ish. I'd duck back in every few levels but the difficulty had gotten crazy hard even though I have all the top gear and all the extra ship mods. I still love doing them on my alts but it got very frustrating on my 50.

This is EXACTLY what I have experienced and I simply ignore it now. It just wasn't worth the time and frustration. I love the rest of them. Very fun and reminds me of the hours of fun I had playing X-Wing and Tie Fighter. Nice Star Wars arcade action as a little side bar to my regular play.

I feel the same frustration with facing an additional patch every week. However, on the flip side I am enthused that they are so quickly addressing issues. While the issues that they've rallied to quickly resolve so far have not been ones that affected me, that may not always be the case and if there was something inhibiting a major part of my gameplay, I would LOVE that the patch came only a day after the patch that caused it. I force myself to take a deep breath and know that this is all the type of stuff that comes during the launch of a game. I'm not happy about being cut short on my own game time but do understand the thinking and am trusting that those extra patches are for things that are having a significant negative effect on somebody's gaming experience and not things that could just wait til next week's patch.

It's quite possible that the apostrophe was not was what made your name invalid. There are some things that I think are not allowed due to Lore or that the name is in use by an NPC. I could not use "Winter" (is a char in the first Zahn trilogy) however I've seen Boba (who then used Fett as a legacy title be be Boba Fett) which is a FAR more known name and I am stunned that the player was able to enter that.

It would, however, translate pretty well into a space battle.
