We had a similar problem last night to what you are describing. There is something going on with the taunt. He literally reset at 0% and only 1k life on us once. gah!

However, if he is just resetting, maybe he's just getting tired of getting farmed every few hours. lol.

Good Job, but I'm afraid this is not the case. You CAN loot the crystal as long as the champion is down regardless of whether or not he is red to you before he died. The crystal that drops is open world lootable as long as you have the shockwater. I don't mind this issue as he is a very hard champion to beat and if you didn't get the shockwater anyway then you can't get the gem. Remember, the gem is useless without the schematic; and that creates the opportunity for your toon to get a rare crystal, provided you can secure the other mats.

Agreed. SI here and I use the Voss Social V armor and as soon as I can... I will take the tier gear mods and stick em in my social armor, because as bad as the tier armor looks, the Voss Social armor is wonderfully designed for my SI. The only bad side is the stat armor bug that I hope they resolve immediately.

I can totally appreciate that. Our guild has an agreement with another guild and we alternate loot based on IF the schem drops. Our guild agreed to pass on the first schem drop and we will get the next one (I am the only artifice in our guild). The schem dropped the FIRST time we downed him. This is a nice idea because it allows trading and sharing between the haves/havenots w/o adding a ton of cost from a guild bank. Basically, once the schem dropped I unloaded all the mats we needed and got the dps the crystal (the crit crystal dropped) and that was that. If the next schem that drops is the endurance stat our guild will return the favor. I am not saying this is the IDEAL way (everyone will have an opinion). However, there is a way for you, as an artifice to MAKE this work.

Well fighting the lvl 50 champion ghost on Ilum is no easy feat so...

hmmm. I have taken about 5 guildies up there and had no issue. Make sure you do have the buff and climb the mountain just N of the Leth Outpost (Imperial). It is called Pure Shockfrozen Water or something.

I am pretty sure you can only possess one at a time. I do know you can't even see the clickable water tower gauge once you have the buff so I think it's an item limitation of one. Although I can understand the confusion because once you have the Pure Shockfrozen water it actually has an item number of 1. Perhaps once you do have this item you can stack them. Let me know if you try.

Is this a known issue? I am not seeing too many people point this out.

I have been Social Level V for about 2 weeks now and I prefer to wear the Voss social set on my Sorc., but I cannot stand having to unequip/equip everytime I enter a loading screen. If I do not unequip/equip my stats drop and enter a battle with significantly less DPS. Although there is a workaround, it's easy to forget to do this in flashes and can be a huge difference when running hard modes. I do love the idea of swapping all mods/armor/enhancements/etc, but please fix the basic mechanics first.

This does happen occasionally on my other system and i reset my video settings by taking off/on refresh sync and that usually fixes it for a while.
