  1. I came back after a break from the game after seeing the blur trailer, they haven't done a blur trailer since launch so i knew that something different was coming and i'm all for that
  2. I like this tiny community tho!
  3. As a healer i support this post, there are times i enjoy doing my own thing. But healing yourself isn't very fun..... I have toons on more than half the US servers and some on two EU servers i have never had an issue doing anything solo. WoW is literally the only mmo,i have ever played that questing was hindered because of the population on a server. matter a fact most people i have come across in swtor are pretty respectful when it comes to things like dailies or questing, not saying it's not possible just that it seems rare.So like the post i quoted is saying it's an mmo comes with the territory,to be honest.
  4. This right here is a major concern for me as well! i gotta have my alts.
  5. I think that their big announcement no question is gonna be mega servers and i'm all for it.When i played ESO i loved it,no matter the time i always felt like there was an active community online. With segregated servers you feel like there is a community only during specific times and a ghost town at those odd hours. Like many have said it needs to be done right tho, harbinger server alone is proof something needs to be done.respect needs to be given to playstyle, but regardless of server type no one is stopping players from uniting for weekly events something i seen happen all the time in eso even with only one US mega server.
  6. gotta agree so far from what i have seen on the server, totally different vibe than the one i tend to get on shadowlands and jedi cov. every other person in gen chat isn't trolling lol pretty nice i gotta say!
  7. I prefer imp side but i love alts so tend to bounce from side to side depending on my mode.I never RPed before but,a guild that doesn't enforce it yet is open to newcomers who may want to get involved would be ideal. If raiding has taught me one thing it's that community is really what mmo's are about and should be not how many people are on the server or gear.accomplishing things in game is easy, but the question is are you doing it with the right people and for the right reason. That's what's fun to me.
  8. Pretty much what i'm looking for, smaller tight knit community. In my experience any mmo i played or server that had been on and had a smaller community,i have met and played with some of the best people i have ever met online.
  9. So i'm considering coming to the server was curious what the population was like? been hanging out on hutta trying to get a feel for it. F.Y.I. I'm actually looking for a less populated server than where i have been playing.for numerous reasons. So just wondering what the server residents think about this server and it's community
  10. I'm glad someone else realizes this other than me.It's just the lazy way for them to keep older content relevant so they don't have to make a TRUE expansion.stat squish is not the same as a global nerf, dps is not the only thing being nerfed for the record also i play a healer 90% of the time. So I haven't the foggiest what a dps in top tier gear even feels like. For me this is purely a design decision i don't look forward to just like many others and they have the track record of being lazy with development. They can change as much as they like bottom line is if between 55-60 if i dont feel more powerful than 55 pre expac i'm done. I could careless about the actual numbers.just further proves bioware hasn't the foggiest what progression actually is. Sorry if the thought of gaining levels and getting nothing but a couple new abilities for it are not my thing.maybe this game shouldn't have levels at all if this is their logic!
  11. I like this solution.but so far all i heard was make leveling faster. Why the hell do i wanna play a leveling based game if i'm not gonna feel more powerful when level increases happen. All the more reason to play more sandboxes and less themeparks.
  12. I think no game gets me excited for an expansion, than when i get more info not wanna play the game for 6 months like swtor does.....
  13. So im considering rerolling on harbinger, due to it's large population and with the crazy SoR expac boost now is the perfect time. I have played since beta and love healing and have done tons of ops.My schedule tends to keep me from doing ops late at night EST time so a guild that offers options that aren't late at night are prefered.I prefer imp side but enjoy playing many alts on both sides. My playstyle is mostly casual due to my random schedule but due to my love of healing, whats a healer without a group???
  14. if in the long term it means better balance and better combat than i'm all for it!
  15. I love how you pretty much just proved his point. also mine too for that matter. we spoke of potential facts and technical limitations on why some of strongholds is enjoyable for some and not so much for others. you on the other hand wrote a paragraph about haters and fanboys, not making much of an intelligent point. i rest my case. sorry if you missed the point on how many of us have experience with housing in many games an older games offer more fun and flexibility with hardly any grind unless grind is your thing of course.
  16. Comparing open world housing to instanced housing is pretty much a waste of breath....it does not change the facts tho that there are games that are a lot older that have done better instanced housing. So all the swtor defenders can avoid the actual facts all they want. But,facts are facts! Maybe a lot of it has to do with the game engine and performance, maybe its just lazy uninspired devs.Could be a million reasons, but it is what it is! Back to my EQ2 house i go....yes i said it EVERQUEST2
  17. Pretty much. Its one thing to say hey i like this game and i enjoy it,its another thing to pretend this is how housing should be implemented in an mmo.If people truly believe that you seriously need to try more mmo's with housing that is actually fun.
  18. This is pretty much the ever losing battle with all themepark games, just can't crank out content fast enough.
  19. Dev posts like this go a long way with me.open communication does wonders.
  20. I've just accepted this about swtor, while other mmo's open the flood gates swtor loves top secret til the last minute. but hey where else can we get our light saber fix amiright???
  21. As someone who has more fun in eso than most other mmo's. there is no question the game has major issues that need major work. Most people who actually enjoy eso are looking for more than just raiding. So i would recommend to anyone that is all about raiding don't even bother with eso. But just because someone looks for different things than you when gaming,i fail to see why you feel there is something wrong with them. Bottom line is not every game is for everyone no matter how good or bad it is,but that doesn't make anyone better than anyone else either.
  22. add me to the list of people who love this bug!
  23. That's also like i refuse to blow money in the cash shop but clearly most people in game do.Works both way.So we can agree to disagree on that one.
