Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Yoda is not a Lannik. Master Even Piell of the Jedi Council is an example of a Lannik. Lannik are more humanoid while Yoda seems to have a reptilian/amphibian link. A recent quote regarding this: "For reasons unknown, George Lucas maintains a strict policy of keeping the history, name, origin, and whereabouts of this species unknown. This policy has resulted even in certain Star Wars publications being canceled."

I couldn't agree more. The dev team said they would only create races that spoke Basic. That's MOST of the races out there. I would love to see more of the "exotic" looking aliens as playable races. Trandoshans happen to be my favorite, but there are a HUGE number of other races that would make me just as happy. I also think they should release playable races in multipacks (release 3+ at a time instead of 1). What's your take on this? Think they'll release a few more races any time soon?

Although they're not my personal favorite, I wouldn't mind seeing Togruta as a playable species. However, I think they should be releasing a few viable options at once (as in 3 races per release). I realize it takes some work on the developers part, but they're only re-skinning humanoids. As much as I would like to see Ithorians and other more exotic races, I think devs aren't willing to take on the challenge of adding them. Sad. So sad.
