  1. What would I like to see in the game? My guild does alot of Space Battle RP Sessions, I would love to be able to fly to another area in the game, that would look like a space battle.
  2. Question: Are there any thoughts, to allow a vote at the beginning of a flash point to skip all movies? This way if people who repeat it over and over can just vote on their decision.
  3. Cant wait to see what this is about wish we could hear something other than the SWTOR Music though on the live stream.
  4. One last thing for anyone who is interested in some of my guilds ideas. Take a look at our guild charter on our website. http://www.omen-swtor-rp.enjin.com. Anyone is welcome to take any part of our guild charter you want, just please before doing so try to give us some credit for the work done. If you want a forum layout of what I sent you can email me at swtor site. I will email you back the code for it if you want so that it automatically conditions in the proper format. I am also interested in hearing other RP Ideas out so if you have something you think sounds cool contact me via the swtor site.
  5. Please do. Here is a list of our guild rules for these events The thing we dont not mention is we keep someone on board of the Ziost, this person transmits over our RP Comms channel, different events. Such as a Republic version of a Dreadnaught jumping into the battle. Or the launching of any elite vessels. Elite Vessels are you hard to kill ships, and usually takes a coordinated team effort to kill. D. Space Combat: 1. Actions are done using emotes. Example "Kori shoots multiple shots at the ships", "Pariah diligently dodges to the left and right to try to miss the in-coming fire.", "Brennan programs the ships computer to redistribute shields to the back of the ship." These are all examples of the 3 jobs aboard every ship. 2. The pilot is the ship leader. Any time a vessel is killed he will make the call. Example of emote used "Pariah watches at Kori's shots hit and cause the ship to explode." 3. Every ship will take damage some more than others we want the fights to be heroic, its more fun to have killed someone who almost killed you. This being said when your taking damage your ship leader will inform you. If he doesn't inform you remember things always get smaller so slowly take your numbers down. Eventually you will have to be compensating for power using energy from the engines, weapons systems, even life support. 4. The Responsibility of the Ship Lead is to coordinate what the ship sees and kills. This person acts as the DM on the ship. 5. The Responsibility of the Main Person on the Ziost Shadow is to coordinate the full event, keep records of number of kills, Communicate various events to the Ship Leaders as they happen, using the DOMCOMMS channel. This person is the DM of the event.
  6. I am revising my earlier post on this subject. Because the diminishing returns on crit is so minimal in the game. Primary Stats * Strength (STR) - Increases your melee damage * Presence (PR) - Increases your healing and boosts your companion's health and dps/healing * Aim (A) - Increases your ranged damage * Cunning © - Increases your tech damage * Endurance (END) - Increases your character's HP * Willpower (WP) - Increases your force damage. Secondary Stats * Power - Gives melee, force and tech damage * Force/Tech Power - Gives force or tech power (not ranged/melee) * Alacrity - Increases the haste for spell casting/channeling * Critical Rating - Increases melee, force and tech crit rating * Accuracy - Gives +hit and also grants armor/spell penetration * Absorption - Percent of damage absorbed * Surge - Increased critical damage * Armor - Reduces physical and kinetic damage (Kinetic=Tech and Force powers) * Defense - Increases Parry/Deflect (Deflect is a ranged parry) * Shield - Increases chance to be shielded on attack * Glance Rating - Block Rating * Expertise - PvP stat To an IA Operative Cunning>Crit Rating>Surge>Tech power>Alacrity> The reason for this change for Crit Rating and Tech Power is this. I am one the best PVE geared Ops Healer on my server. I am sitting with a 50% Crit Rating, and 80% Surge. This being said my Kolti Injector, imminently followed by the Surgical Probe, will crit for over 8K heals. For this reason, Operatives are the best single target healers in the game. I have little experience with BH Healers to judge them. I have alot of experiance with SI Healers, and they seem to be the Best AOE healers in the game. I hope this helps anyone. My experience with healing is SWTOR is priority based healing meaning I rotate healing the person who is lowest HP at the time of my next cast, Always using Kolti Injector followed by a Surgical Probe. For the tanks, I always renew dots, and use the tactical advantage for Combat Stim>Surgical Probe. Always when you have a surgical probe ready to cast use it one someone then switch to who needs the most after casting. I have noticed some times in log Ops Fights, I need to recharge energy. When doing so usually group healing is used while. An alt healer would usually role over to fill in the gaps. I have noticed, I am never out of commission for more than 10 seconds. And still try to cast a hot every 3-4 Diagnostic Scans.
  7. Shien Server is on of the largest Heavy RP Servers for Sith. I do not know about the republic side.
  8. Space Combat RP is really good. My guild has large epic battles using players ships. The roles we have are Gunner/s - 1-2 people they emote shooting at targets, but never confirming a hit. Ship Leader - Pilots the ship, confirms what everyone sees including targets and destroying targets. Ships Computer Programmer - Has to monitor the ships power levels, shields, life support, engines, and hull damage, but has to redistribute power to keep the ship alive and moving. The key here is when you start taking damage they have to do their best to monitor damage and keep the ship alive. Most of these have been pretty quick battles (about 20-30 mins), and everyone gets a say every round of attack. Anyone is welcome to do this also. But it makes for a great place to RP. Other places that are good are the Bridge on the Ziost and Nova. It really depends one what type of event you want to have. My guild recently had a rescue mission to find one of our players. While on this mission we tracked him down to the Shrine of Healing on Voss. We used a similar version of RP Attacks vs the NPCs. If your interested in learning more about my guild we are located on the Shien Server and our website is http://www.omen-swtor-rp.enjin.com. We would look forward to hearing from anyone there.
  9. The following is from the site http://www.oldrepublic.net/218-swtor-character-stats-guide.html Primary Stats * Strength (STR) - Increases your melee damage * Presence (PR) - Increases your healing and boosts your companion's health and dps/healing * Aim (A) - Increases your ranged damage * Cunning © - Increases your tech damage * Endurance (END) - Increases your character's HP * Willpower (WP) - Increases your force damage. Secondary Stats * Power - Gives melee, force and tech damage * Force/Tech Power - Gives force or tech power (not ranged/melee) * Alacrity - Increases the haste for spell casting/channeling * Critical Rating - Increases melee, force and tech crit rating * Accuracy - Gives +hit and also grants armor/spell penetration * Absorption - Percent of damage absorbed * Surge - Increased critical damage * Armor - Reduces physical and kinetic damage (Kinetic=Tech and Force powers) * Defense - Increases Parry/Deflect (Deflect is a ranged parry) * Shield - Increases chance to be shielded on attack * Glance Rating - Block Rating * Expertise - PvP stat To an IA Operative Cunning>Tech power>Crit Rating>Surge>Alacrity Ill post my rotation later after I get home from work, but this was the method I used to keep my energy levels where they needed to be.
