You've shown a history of chronically neglecting PvPers and especially hardcore PvPers, do not **** this up again by giving us a house decoration that no one would care about. Unique (not available on cm, not available through pve, not a recolour) mount/armor/weapon and then as a bonus a house decoration of some sort. Pls

    There is no way he have because i know how good he is that it infuriate's me if people think he have win traded him self up there, what a load of BS. hes one of the best out there give the guy some credit's. at current state GR in this server are its possible for him to get there. Well deserved to. hope he gets above 2k rating as well. He deserves it.

    - Updated "Hall of Fame" players/names. Added Nihilas and Whasp to best players.

    - Removed Divisions from Tier 2.

    - Overall massive update to the roster - "Back in Business" added to Tier 2, "L'arc en Ciel" added to Tier 3, Tier 3 reworked, all ranks updated.

    I'm not contributing with anything to the thread, I know, but wth class rep

     

     

    I have played arenas, with all my toons more or less. But never in a stable team due to all my IRL stuff and work etc as i explained to you earlier.

     

    Problem spotted xd When you have your homies taking care of your weaknesses, things change. It might sound like the overall team is suffering to compensate for the mandos weakness but they don't have to do much. A countered hard switch relies first and foremost on the healer/tank not being cced together (if the enemy switches to a merc dps) and on healer cleansing fast enough. A good hard switch relies on ccing everyone on the enemy team and hard stunning the guy you're going on which lets the merc dps wreck havoc with the fastest 1 -2 burst combo this game has. List goes on

     

    The only thing I'd agree on is that this class has a higher skill roof but it also needs teamwork to make it shine which is nice, in my humble opinion. I'm probably seen as being idealistic or overly optimistic and really there is nothing that can be said to entitle an opinion and give it truth value, so take it as you may

  5. "Fine" is in my thoughts as good as or as viable as the best pvp healing class. Otherwise its not fine, it is a subpar option.

    Now i know you are probably one of the worlds best commando healers and i respect your opinion, but i do not share it.

    Commandos are not on the same viability level as a operative is under pressure. I also agree about supercharge, it should be something spectacular, not just a passive % increase of such low numbers as it is.

     

    Maybe we're subpar under that specific context that you mentioned, but we excel in other areas. I don't think we should all (healers) be indistinguishably similar under all aspects, or not even in the one aspect that would seem to be the most relevant in arenas which is pressure healing. We have ways to deal with pressure that scoundrels don't (transcendence + hold the line is magnificent), we have incredibly superior firepower (mortar volley >> any dps a scoundrel can pull and it's also 30m range) when it comes to hard switches and the list can go on.

     

    As long as we're not played like a scoundrel, or people get it out of their heads that mando doesn't fill the niche a scoundrel fills (in healing ofc), we're "fine" as in competitive. We can bring things that scoundrels dream of and the tools we can provide have to be exploited in order for a mando healer to work.

  6. I fear that until the devs realise that merc/commandos need a disengage retreat ability they will never, ever be viable as dps, and until they realise that long hardcasts will never allow them to heal properly, this class will never be viable for arenas.

     

    So, a longer lasting hot then kolto shell or kolto pod OR less reliance on casts for heals (second option would be best) and a jump away/disengage retreat ability is badly needed. I dunno about other players but i feel mercs might actually be fine given those two changes.

     

    In my honest opinion, healing merc is fine the way it is at the moment. I'd like to see supercharge do something else besides just some dull passive bonuses, but I think we're very very far from being unviable as healers in group ranked.

     

    Agreed on dps needing that disengage, but I think it might be a bit sick for healers, especially if you couple it with less reliance on casts.

  7. They should allow you to transfer the char back as well, and over-write the one sitting on the main server. Or instead of copying, do a legit transfer...so there's no char "waiting" on the home server. Totally commit to PvP on that toon ya know?

     

    While I love RWZ, I also like to occasionally PvE and I can only imagine that there are other PvPers in my position as well, so not sure on the legit transfer. Not to mention that you'd be leaving friends behind, friends you like doing regs with. Delicate issue D:

  8. It's not about just giving up, it's about trying to be heard and being repeatively ignored. They choose to ignore the players on the forums, they dont just miss what we say. They don't care.

     

    People have been keeping on for a year now. Since the 1.2 crisis hit, people have been trying to tell Bioware what they can do to make up for the lie that they told everyone. They haven't bothered to listen, nor will they ever listen because they are more concerned with the cartel market, than to actually improve their game for the rest of the population.

     

    I'm not going to beat a dead horse anymore, and neither are the people that are unsubbing and posting their negative remarks on the thread. The reason why people are so angry and upset is because they liked this game...A LOT. And with Bioware having months and months of input for people and then choosing to not address any of them with a simple "no" or "not in our road map" it just tells people that they just wasted their time telling Bioware theories and other ways to help the server population and community.

     

    We are giving up not because we hate this game, we are giving up because we're tired of wasting our time, not being listened to, and because we are legitimately upset and angry that EA and Bioware are just letting this game die, while they siphon all of the money they can possibly get until the end.

     

    What it comes down to is they don't have to care because of the cartel market. The money that they have to put into this game vs the money that they are getting from the cartel market is more to them. It's not worth their time to invest into the game to make the game better because sure, people will like it more and there is a chance that the game can improve and get better so that they can still have their cash flow. But it might not make them the money that they are making right now. When they look over the spreadsheet of what they can do vs what they have, they are content with what they have and they don't want to change anything because they are making money, even at the cost of the game dying out and the players not being happy. That is what EA does, and that's why EA should just stick to consoles and leave the MMO market to the people that actually knows how it works. There is a reason why EA was given the number one worst company in the United States.

  9. I kinda like this idea, however it would be odd to progress on a server that is not "real". I mean, your RWZ Server character progresses, while your Live Server character is getting.. rating, I guess.

     

    Maybe it's irrelevant seeing as you can min/max gear on live at a leisurely pace and do a bunch of copies on RWZ Sv and be min/max asap, I just don't like the idea that my "main" is trailing behind. Idk, mb i'm being weird.

     

    But if too many people feel weird about it, maybe it's not such a brilliant idea after all, especially if you couple it with the fact that the RWZ Sv would have to accumulate a critical mass of players to make it the hot spot for RWZ activity and it already seems like the idea would stumble and fall fast.

    Hah yeah, that would actually make Adrenaline Rush so much better, imo as a medic. That cd always felt half useful in that it only works if you're below 35% hp which is not a threshold you don't want to maintain when you're healing, lol. It's sometimes really good, sometimes it barely ticks twice so it's too situational compared to say reactive shield which is always useful unless you're not getting attacked, in which case popping it was a bad idea to begin with.

     

    With this change I think it'd be pretty sick. Unless you meant it strictly for Assault :D

     

    (PvP) I'd still want to see supercharge cells actually do something significant. 5% extra healing and a 5% damage shield that might not be working is a bit... ehhhh (besides the 8 ammo it gives and AMP cd). I guess I want it to be a core mechanic to the class, right now it's kind of core, as in you want to pop it often in the right situations, but it's not as big a factor as Sentinel Zen. Maybe while supercharged our MP heals an additional low health target for a % that's not ridiculous, say 30 or 20? Though maybe this would be op in PvE, I wouldn't know...

     

    At any rate, my question idea for Combat Medic PvP (I realise Assault is probably in more of a need for the question then Medic, but a brainstorm is a brainstorm) would relate to Supercharge and if there are any ideas/plans for making it a bigger factor for medics in PvP or what the designers intent for this ability was/is

  11. Having someone sit on you, interrupt your AMP, and then another enemy interrupting your MP, is a really easy way to shutdown the commando down indefinitely.

     

    That's a bit of an overstatement imo. Maybe in solo ranked it's an issue because if you heal there you're basically 1v4, very rarely will your team mates have any clue as to what to do, but that's solo ranked in a nutshell.

     

    I think instead of interrupt immunity, maybe we could get something that actively reduces the cooldown of Tech Override? Like everytime you supercharge you cut the cd of TO by a number? Idk, I just want to see Sueprcharge do something cool, that's probably my only real gripe with Combat Medic atm.

  12. I gave it to HtL because having interrupt immunity on such a low cooldown should have its drawbacks and not be that easy to use. You now have to make the choice whether to use HtL to kite, or to use it for the interrupt immunity.

    Still, it gives you a huge advantage against ranged classes and their interrupts.

     

    Too few situations where you could only use it just for interrupt immunity. Even vs ranged classes you wanna save it to get out of LoS to prevent incoming CC, and even if you can't (Sniper or w/e other reason), you still save it to dodge CC from OPs/Warriors/Knights or to dodge a hardstun before a switch. Idk, in my experience, HtL is too good in those situations to even consider saving it for a 4 second interrupt immunity. 1 cc can mean death in ranked

    • Hold the Line/Hydraulic Overrides now grant Interrupt Immunity for the first 4 seconds.
       
       

     

    Not that I advocate interrupt immunity for mando healers (I don't think it's necessary), but I really don't like this. HtL/HO is for (ironically) running away, I don't see the point of tying Interrupt Immunity to an ability that is much much better utilized as a kiting tool and that shouldn't be saved to pop 2 heals, maybe 3, unhindered. If anything, have HtL grant Interrupt Immunity in the last 3-4 seconds of HtL.

     

    I'm only thinking about group ranked though, so take my feedback as you will.

  14. I mainly play combat medic so take my advice as you will, but in the few games I played as dps, gunnery felt like the choice to go as far as burst goes. I mean, it kind of depends on what arenas you do: if it's group arenas and you're running a hard switch setup I think assault is out of the question because: 1) it dots targets and makes it harder to switch and 2) gunnery has front loaded burst and lots of it. If you play yolo q, I'm still tempted to say gunnery because you can deal massive damage in short time which can catch your opponents off guard.
