I haven't really been in TOR as much as I would necessarily like. Unfortunately I can't find as many people to roleplay with as I would like to. However one feature that I think would be cool to see, would add more opportunities for roleplaying, and has precedent in the Star Wars universe, would be of cross-faction partying.
Now for those who don't know what I mean:
I mean the ability to party up my Sith Inquisitor with say someone's Smuggler for instance and enter their instanced off areas while in their party, similarly to how you can do it now with a member on your own faction. Now imagine the possibility of being able to have multi-guild RP events because of this and proper faction rivalries.
I am not blind to the fact that this feature may be used by some to gank members of the other faction so obviously it would have some restrictions about where this would be available, etc.
Again I would like to stress that it would not break the lore / story of the game since it hasn't been TOTALLY unknown that depending on the situation that Sith and Jedi have once or twice allied together for a common goal, though I can see it more come into play between Imperial Agents, troopers, bounty hunters and smugglers.
