  1. It would be so good to trade with others to collect the sets. I got 1 Corso, 2 Elaras and 3 Vectors.
  2. I only want my Twilek to be able to wear head slot items again.
  3. You will find you are mistaken...my young apprentice. About a great...many...things...read the first sentence of the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BioWare Bioware is Canadian. They have an office in Austin. So this contest only being open to US residents...is...silly.
  4. The thing that really bothers me is that this was stealth patched. I've searched through the 1.2 patch notes and it isn't noted anywhere. So the art team didn't bother with species-specific armor models, they took something that looked questionable and removed the option completely from the players to show it or not, and didn't bother mentioning it, either. For shame. Can we get a Dev to comment on this please? Y u no liek twilekz, Bioware?
  5. Another thing...my guild learned this the hard way... ...during your pulls on the SOA fight, if and when you wipe, you may wish to consider resetting the phase every time you go back in. It might bug your flight path, making you walk a bit farther...but it should enable you to avoid a lot of the missing platform bugs we had.
  6. The best part of being a JK War Hero now, is that this armor looks like it grants the ability to fight underwater, without worrying about those darn pesky mouth-rebreather things. Awesomesauce!!!
  7. I really disagree with this approach, BW. Taking away player resources is not the right approach. Especially when you consider you're nerfing several healer classes as well. Have you considered simply de-incentivizing the use of medpacs through other means (making them more expensive to buy/create, adding a casting time vs instant cast, etc)? I'm sure the Dev team could come up with something a little more creative than this - heck...if you're looking for ideas on how to do this properly, feel free to solicit them from the community.
  8. Player bounties. Not just for bounty hunters. For all classes (i.e. Tracking down notorious Player criminals / Sith / Republic War Heroes, etc.)

OP - would it suffice to say that with your current spec, you can't get no...satisfaction?
  10. New dailies are being added, on Corellia IIRC. Not exactly stellar PVE Endgame stuff, but at least it's something. It would be nice to have options so you're not always repeating the same quests over and over. I'm personally hoping for more gear for purchase with daily comms, including schematics and crafting mats. But that's based on my wishlist, not necessarily on anything I've read or heard.
  11. My guild leader lives 10 mins away from Bioware's office, and has acquaintances within the SWTOR staff team at Bioware. For the record, he was waitlisted as well, in spite of the fact that he doesn't need food, room or transportation...parking, maybe, but that's all. To all the haters on the OP, I'd recommend to take it in stride, and give him a break - he was just trying to solution travel arrangements. OP - sorry your current situation doesn't look promising.
  12. Hey - can we talk? Erm - Nevermind. Forget about it.
  13. The OP makes some pretty well-intentioned, industrious recommendations. I'm of a slightly simpler mindset. I'd be willing to settle for a fix on Illum PvP. That would make me happy.
  14. Isn't this what the /ignore command is for?
  15. He keeps alluding to my body weight. Frankly it's starting to wear on my self-confidence. And the stench of Alderaanian nectar on my ship is quite nauseating. I endorse your suggestion, OP.
  16. I'd like to be able to board and raid other player's ships, have my companions face off theirs and start my own piracy ring. I'd also like space pvp, or even dailies that gave me commendations and made space combat relevant again, post-50. But at the bare minimum, I'd settle for some multiplayer space action. On that note, they could also look at creating flashpoints that were space-dependent (i.e. some bosses and trash to be cleared in-space on multiplayer-rails), then you board your way onto the remainder of the content and fight your way on foot. It wouldn't be hard to take the rail shooter and up the ante a bit.
  17. Try removing all armor pieces except for boots, weapon and belt, and run some Lowbies through Athiss. Strangely, it's a lot more fun to watch than you might anticipate. Especially when your character dodges a lot.
  18. One of my guildmates had a great idea for giving himself the legacy surname of "Subaru". I thought that was pretty funny.
  19. I agree with the OP, at least on my server anyway. I've been in at least two dozen WZs so far on my toon and haven't won one yet. Republic players that aren't in premades don't seem to care or coordinate at all, and the abusive QQ in Ops chat in reaction to this is just...amazing. I'm new to PvP and I sorta suck, but I want to learn and get better. But I'm pretty demoralized about it right now. I'm eventually going to recruit more guildmates for premades, but a lot of them are focused on levelling right now. But I'm guessing that a lot of the Sith I've been fighting are premades. The other observation is that as a level 50, I can usually call what's going to happen when the WZ kicks off and I noticed I'm grouped up with little Jimmy level 17 and his younger cousin Tim. And I start fighting the Sith and notice...oh hey...we're fighting a bunch of level 50 Sith Sorcs and 50 BHs. I hope that banding the 50s together will help this. I think it would also be helpful if: 1) Republic toons learned they can hotkey passing the hutball. On that note, if you do get the ball...don't be a hero and run a gauntlet through enemy lines past a bunch of imps on your own. Pass the ball around to nearby players when they start hammering down on you. 2) Not act like a herd of wild geese in the Alderaan WZ, jumping hither and yon to the three checkpoints. Pick a spot and defend it, and call out for help if needed. 3) At least read up and have a basic understanding of how the Voidstar works before trying to invade/defend it.
  20. I would like to endorse Jimer's message. The fact that he is a guildmate of mine is inconsequential...the message stands... ...better server community. Now. Give the people who want to support a healthy MMO community a voice, and take the audience away from the forum trolls in General Discussion. That is all.
  21. Dodd Formeianna is back! I used to be in DRH, and later was guildleader for GLF. For SWTOR, I pledged my eternal devotion to Alvis, and am having a blast with Jounville, Jimer, and all the other cohorts on Juyo. Much to their dismay.

This. Absolutely spot on. Here's some tips, firstly...and most importantly...spend less than you earn. Do some preparation, and create a crafting budget. Don't go over your budget - try to limit your crafting by level. Know your big expenses and save up for them (i.e. 48K for level 25 speeder training, 210K for level 40 speeder 2, etc.) Put that money aside once you have it. Unless you're playing the market on Galatic Trade, don't buy anything from the GTN or from vendors. Unless it's something absolutely critical to the advancement of your character. Use quest/commendation rewards only as your gear as you level. Once you hit endgame, then you can go nuts on spending for gear that will last you until they eventually raise the level cap. Silicing has been nerfed, but you can still earn a living off of it. Lockboxes on some areas of Belsavis usually average 1K-1.5K per node.
