  1. Hey there! I don't know if this idea has been posted before -- my search-fu has failed me if it has, and I apologize in advanceif so -- but I had this idea Is there any chance that we could acquire in-game stronghold decorations modeled after our completed Cartel Market armor/weapon/color crystal/vehicle collections? These would essentially 'props' to place on hooks around your Stronghold, allowing you to show off that snazzy Tulak Hord suit you finally collected, or make a Ziost Guardian hilt the centerpiece of your favorite room Any thoughts?
  2. Even though I'm still really new to the guild, Penumbral has been super inviting and friendly from the very second I got into the guild; from a guild-wide welcome as soon as I accepted the invite, to taking me right into the ranks of their PvE and PvP players, to participating in coordinated and exciting RP events -- with stellar writing and intriguing, deep story lines -- and their constantly active VOIP server, I've never felt excluded or unwelcome We've been tacking world bosses, dashing our way through weekly heroics grind squads, and our crack-teams of content-crunching players have been steamrolling PvE from Ops to Tacticals to Hard Modes, all while dominating the PvP battlefields -- together, as a guild, as friends and allies But don't let my ravings fool you, because for all the amazing RP and gameplay the guild has to offer, there's still that omnipresent feeling of, "Hey. I'm having fun. I feel welcomed!" And let me just say: in an age of snobby 'elite' RPerss and 'pro players' who will snub you for being a couple points behind on your parse, Penumbral really is a breath of fresh air
  3. So I had an idea for a few new items that might be cool to have. Now they don't really have to be on the Cartel Market, but I imagine that's probably where they'll end up if they're added. 1. Enhanced/Assisted Movement (Mount) Who needs a speeder or a tamed beast to make it across the world? You're a hero of the Republic, or a mighty force of the Empire! There could be a couple varieties of this 'mount' that scales to your speeder training level and will work on any character of any class at level 10+. The first variety is 'Enhanced Movement', basically a play on Force Speed/Force Leaping, explaining why you move faster and jump higher as a speeder/mount would. It would have very Force-sensitive centric animations. As for Assisted Movement, perhaps it could take after a more parkour-style of movement, with jump jets coming from the heel or sole of your boots. I would suggest the Cartel Coin cost be equal to any other mount, or perhaps a little less since it's not as "flashy". 2. 'True' Sith Eyes: True Sith eye coloration for purchase on the market or unlockable as a bonus for reaching Dark Side Tier 5, which allow you to change your entire eye coloration to the corrupted, iconic orange/red/black. An example of 'True' Sith Eyes: --> http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090917002539/starwars/images/7/70/Vader_yelloweyes.jpg <--) As a wholly cosmetic change, this could perhaps cost the same as the other cosmetic eye coloration changes available on the market. Maybe a little more, since it'd technically be cheesing the Dark Side Tier 5 requirements. So, thoughts? Would any of these items appeal to you lot? Thanks in advance for your responses!
  4. Hi all! I'm a returning player just coming back after about a year of absence, and I'm here to suggest something that may have already been suggested (though I couldn't find it in the last several pages -- forgive me if this is a repost). I've picked up on about two different voice mods/masks separate from the standard voice -- which we hear by default in voiceovers without any voice mods on -- and I think these voice alterations are awesome additions to the voice acting in this game... In fact, I love them so much that I'd be highly willing to pay to unlock any voice mask on any helmet. (The prior link is a YouTube video that demonstrates the difference in voice mods.) *Respirators in the style of Malgus' half-mask, as well as bounty hunter and Revan-style helmets/masks add an airy, ghastly mask to your voice. *High-tech full-face helms like the Ancient Paragon helmet add an electronic, modulated, almost vocoder-style mask to your voice. These voice mods are pretty awesome to me; however, I've noticed that not everyone likes these voice mods, or some want a different voice mod than what is available. Therefore, I think that adding some way to unlock and toggle voice mods on/off would be really cool. Perhaps either: *Unlocking the voice mod by 'acquiring' it through earning and equipping an item with that "style" of voice mod, which would add it to a collection. -or- *Add 'Anytime Voice Modding' to the Cartel Market. This unlock would let us toggle masks on/off and select which voice mod (if any) we wish for our characters to use. -or- *Allow us to go to the recustomization vendors on the fleet to change our voice masks to any masks available in the game. -and- *Above all else, allow us to toggle voice mods/masks on and off at any time. *This system could, if possible, allow us access to certain NPC-only voice mods. I would recommend 7,500 credits and 10 Cartel Coins per alteration to voice mods; these are just example prices if the devs choose to charge us, and obviously, the devs would set the prices to alter our voice mods (if they charge us at all).
  5. Hey folks, I have a (relatively) simple suggestion that I would like to throw out for thoughts and critique. Is there any chance that Tionese Crystals can be converted into Tionese Commendations? I always have an outlandishly high number of crystals--I think my Juggernaut is sitting on 101 or more--and not nearly enough commendations to be worthwhile. I think a fair and reasonable implementation to circumvent this issue--if it's even an issue for anyone else--would be to allow Tionese crystals to be converted into Tionese commendations for a slightly higher cost... say... 4 or 5 crystals = 1 commendation? If not, it'd be nice to have other places to spend our excess crystals. A Tionese modifications vendor would be pretty spiffy. Thanks for any input. Let me know what you think! -Runo
  6. Our level spread was pretty varied; we had a 36 Powertech tanking it for us, I was a 30 Jgu offtanking, and a 33 DPS. Everyone else was 28 or under.
  7. Possibly... I'm not sure. It has over 600K hitpoints. Maybe a really well-geared out 50 with a healer companion or something.
  8. No harm intended -- the post was mostly just meant for fun. And thanks.
  9. You can solo world bosses? Most impressive! May I see a screenshot or some form of verification?
  10. (Image Hotlink for Higher Resolution) With the help of only a small handful of mperial allies, Shattered Sun was able to take down a threat to Tattooine natives today: agents of the Sun brought down a massive, ancient Wraid known as "Trapjaw" and were able to scavenge countless high-quality components from its corpse (Prototype RE-95 Parts went to Semtex; Daumina got a hold of an Advanced Reflex Barrel 11, and Jenge got a hold of an Advanced Patron Armoring 11!). Once again Imperial competency and firepower prove number one! FOR THE EMPIRE!
  11. I've... actually never played ME, so I had no idea that was in there. LOL @squidheadjax: Agreed!
  12. Hey all, I had a (hopefully simple!) suggestion to throw into the mix: I think it'd be really nice if, during dialogue choices, we could have the choice to mouse-over the specific choice and see what the scripted line entails. This should be an option that is disabled by default, but can be toggled on/off in the options menu or maybe with the example command of "/mouseover". Let's say you have three choices, just for example. You are a Sith having breakfast with a Jedi and the Jedi says something that just ticks you off! NPC Jedi: (Jed I. Mann) "...and that is so NOT how you eat with a space-fork." You (Lord Darky Draknus) respond with... Choice 1: "I'm sorry." But when you mouse over the option, a popup menu instead describes the line as "Oh, my apologies about that old Jedi chap. I believe I will appropriately adjust to the etiquette of Jedi manners and methods." [Light Side Points +100] Choice 2: "Shush!" But when you mouse over the option, a popup menu instead describes the line as, "Oh stick a fork in it." [Neutral Option, 0 Morality Loss/Gain] Choice 3: "Now you die!" But when you mouse over the option, a popup menu instead describes the line as "I'm going to kill you slowly and eat the hot breakfast you left on the table!" [Dark Side Points +100] What do you all think?
