  1. Hopefully BioWare notices how OP Mara's are and how underpowered Sorcs are, and they make the needed changes! PLEASE!
  2. Hello, I've noticed some advanced classes have offhand weapons that come with mods, while others (power generators, focus.. etc) only comes with built on stats. Would it be possible change change this so they all have mods? One of the options you could allow with this is whatever crystal color you have in your offhand, it changes the color of certain abilities (like Force Lightning). Thanks, Tye
  3. BIoWare, When will you give us the option to change our race/appearance options, and our names? I understand when we level a race to 50 we get it unlocked for other alliances, and will have to change that if we ever get to switch races. Either way, you should DEFINITELY make it an option (payable of course).
  4. 1. How do you think your Sorcerer spec is perceived by other classes? Lightning - Turret mode, easy to kill. Useless in PVP, no burst damage, and can easily be shut down against other advanced classes. Madness - Same as Lightning, plus our 31-point talent is useless. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Lightning - The most interesting class to play, but has too many procs. DPS is lacking compared to other advanced classes. Our hardest hitting abilities (Thundering Blast & Chain Lighting) do not hit as hard as other regularly used abilities from other classes, and our utility is not that great for PVE/PVP. *If you increase the damage for Thundering Blast substantially, while making it an instant ability, then make a talent that every Lighting Strike reduces the CD of Polarity Shift by a few seconds; that would be a good start to making Sorcerers more fun. Also, you could change Conduction to work on Lightning Strike instead of Forked Lightning. I enjoyed the class when the game first launched, but it's become extremely boring. Another Idea for all classes, is using a visual on-screen alert for certain procs, so it's easier to see instead of staring at the little icons. Not all procs, but the main ones. Or you could make an option in the preferences to allow certain visuals for all procs, and give us the option to turn on/off what we want. That would be awesome.
  5. I'm not at home, so I can't provide my current specs. I didn't; however, say that I run out of force as Lightning. I never run out of force, unless I'm Madness spec and running Ops. Sorcerer rotation is pretty simple. Affliction, Thundering Blast Crushing Darkness Force Lightning (use Recklessness when you can) Lightning Strike as a filler, and use Chain Lightning when it procs. Rinse and repeat...
  6. I agree that BioWare needs to take another look at Sorcerer DPS, especially Lightning Class for PVE. So many people say we're OP, but look at marauders! They pull way more DPS, have a ton of stuns and CC, and are actually fun to play. Even if you say they're melee, they have force leap, which easily has them start at ranged distance and quickly get into a fight. My biggest complaint with Sorcerer is that it's boring to play for Operations. You have to go Lightning, as if you play Madness, you lose force way too quick. We just need some changes in our mechanisms to make it more enjoyable. I'm not seeing we should get buffed or nerfed, just changed. It does suck when you read the patch notes and NOTHING for Sorcerers is listed. Has anyone else noticed that Lightning Sorcerers is basically Elemental Shamans in WOW, except without the totems? Please, fix us!
  7. Now that you mention it, I also do agree with this statement. The whole point of gaining legacy abilities is by leveling your Legacy... not by having to spend millions of credits on each ability which only works for one character.
  8. I noticed they removed the Sprint upgrades from what's currently shown on 1.2 Coming Soon Legacy Panel to what's in 1.3. I understand they improved upon the quicker travel by allowing speeders at level 10, but I was still hoping for the Faster Sprint. Places like EV where you're moving large distances between trash pulls and can't use a mount, I find this ability to be very helpful. I assume not all future Operations will be outdoors; and therefore, you can't use a mount in them... ? If so, I'd recommend putting the Upgraded Sprint back in the game system. Edit: I also feel the Legacy Upgrades, (Lets use More experience for Space Missions) should be for all characters. I thought the whole point of the Legacy System was to bring all your characters together...? Allowing this would make people want to level more Alts, since it'll reduce time spent grinding the same missions on each planet.

  10. I'd love to see an option that allows me to only see MY debuffs (or buffs) on my target (enemy or friendly), so I can keep track of when certain abilities are going to ware off. Also, I'd REALLY appreciate it if you guys can fix your targeting system. During AoE abilities, if a friendly is in the zone, I constantly target them instead of an enemy. Also, when you kill a target, but that target left an DOT on you, you'll keep targeting that (dead) enemy instead of what you're trying to kill next. Actually, an option to turn off auto-targeting when something is attacking you would be nice too. Tye EDIT: Also the ability to swap the mission log horizontally so we can place it on the left side.
  11. The most embarrassing way to go was watching Qui-Gon Jinn getting beat by a Sith Apprentice. So much for being a powerful Jedi Master...
  12. FYI... Technically the Emperor and Boba Fett didn't die. Palpatine had multiple clones of himself around the galaxy that he could transfer his consciousness into, and Bobba climbed his way back out.
  13. Did BioWare at some point say they'd add the armoring mod into both PVE and PVP gear, so we'd be allowed to pull out ALL mods? I thought I read this somewhere.
  14. BOP (Bind on pick-up) items can be swapped between yourself and your companions. It can not however be sent to other characters (including any alts you may have).
  15. This post is spot on. Here's my question, why does tier gear even drop from flashpoints? I say you need to run normal mode FP's to get gear to be able to handle HM-FP's. At this point you'll be ready to head into NM-EV and NM-KP and that's when tier gear starts to drop. I understand Bioware is new to the whole MMO scene, but they do need to increase the difficulty. They're allowing people to reach complete end-game in a few weeks after launch. Unless they'll be releasing new content (Major patches) every couple of weeks, they need to slow down progression.
  16. Here's a question, while moving the rat all over the canyon and getting him the buffs were you already infected with his fever? If so, do you think he gives you a stronger fever if he has all three buffs? So basically, bring him around all the merchants, cure your infection, wait for the vaccine to wear off and get the debuff again.. maybe it's different.
  17. Or they put one on Hoth in case someone who went there forgot to buy the vaccine while in Tattooine.
  18. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure. The fact that the infection lasts a long time (meaning you can travel to multiple planets with it) and thinking that if some creature bites you or attacks you with it's body, it SHOULD get infected too. I'm leaning towards something along that idea.. just not sure how it all fits together... yet.
  19. So the infection last until death and it's been mentioned you travel to Hoth? So what if you're infected and you let something else attack you.. does it get infected?
  20. Well here's a question. The crystal comes in 41 crit, power, and endurance right? So if it's NOT a schematic how does one choose which crystal you get? It may be a schematic. Also until he actually confirms (he may of, I might have missed it) there's no schematic, he may be hinting the actual "quest line" but not mentioning the schematic drop itself. Better to get some confirmation before we start assuming anything.
