Underworld Force-Mystic set bonus not stacking? Hi, I purchased Arkanian Force-Mystic's Lower Robes this evening and decided I wanted to rip the armoring out and use it to replace the Dread Guard armoring I currently had in my Red Scalene Greaves. I ripped the armoring out, and it looks like this: http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a623/Gareth_Grist/UW_ARMOR_zps5667668d.jpg However, when I add it to my Red Scalene Greaves it does not stack with the other Force-Mystic armorings that I have. I am currently running the follow itemisation in PvE: Crit: ~34% (stims + operative buff will get you to 40%) Surge: ~74% Alacrity: ~10% Power rating: 996 I have read that if you have the option (e.g. when choosing augments) you should always go for willpower over power. Per point power gives marginally more healing bonus (something like 0.17 per point), however willpower gives healing bonus (0.14) + a small crit bonus, and this crit bonus is capped at 30% and not affected by diminishing returns, which makes willpower more valuable. However, I have augmented both power and crit, as I feel the margin is so slight and doesn't have an impact on my performance.

Also, it's a good idea to use the 2-set bonus from the old Sorc PvP healing gear (reduces the duration of static barrier debuff by 3 seconds). This is the old style (i.e. not war hero) set bonus where the bonus is attached to the gear, not the armoring. Just rip the PvP item mods out and put your PvE ones in (although don't put black hole campaign armorings in, as these will overwrite the PVP set bonus). I'm currently using PvE Campaign gloves and legs armorings, with PvP chest and boots filled with PvE item mods, so I get the decreased cool-down of innervate and the reduced static barrier debuff. IMO the extra 50 force from the 4-set PvE bonus is useless once you've have learnt how to manage your force as a corruption sorc

In all seriousness though, you do have to trust them to do what's right for the game in the long run. I know it may seem that some of the changes they're making now are bad/rushed and balance is always going to be an issue...however it's early days and an active development team is better than an inactive one who ignores the community (early SWG days anyone??) You have to trust that the devs are taking an holistic view of the game and are taking much more into account than just 1 class or play category i.e. PvP/PvE. Yes, the surge rating change isn't nice...but it has been done for a reason. Perhaps they may tweak it further in the coming weeks - perhaps not. Unfortunately you just have to suck it up or choose to leave (and I'm not saying that in a flippant way, I'm just saying this is normal for an MMO of this age).
