  1. I typically have 20 fps, but it spikes at times to 5 to 10 fps, and makes the game look very choppy.
  2. I'm running a GeForce 450 on a Gateway FX with a Intel Core 2 Quad. I am also running on 6bg RAM with Windows 7. I can run the game no problem when I quest or do stuff with out a crowd of other players, but when I pvp my FPS drop like no other (even on lowest possible settings). Does anyone have any recommendations on what I could do to help improve my gaming performance when I pvp? Thanks!

    Out of Combat

You are full of it BRO, you made a mistake by talking big on this thread and now you are trying to make up for it. "L2 play".

    Out of Combat

If it is 8 seconds, it is NOT consistent, there are times where it takes almost half a minute. If it is a bug then I understand...if not then I don't know what's happening....

    Out of Combat

I think that going out of combat should have a timer, like after initiating combat, 6 or 7 seconds after not attacking an opponent in PvP would put you out of combat. It makes no sense that I stay in combat when I am over 100 yards away from an opponent. This would also help those stealthy classes in not having to waste their vanish/force cloak or whatever. I used to play WoW and this sort of system worked really well for stealthy classes like Rogues, and I think it should be implemented into this game.

  7. As many have noted so far, this game requires more out of your graphics card than the average game. Back when I played WoW, I was able to do battlegrounds and such with 15+ people on my screen and did not receive any significant FPS drop (even on max settings). Now in playing SWTOR, I get FPS spikes with only 2 or 3 people on my screen with low settings. I think the game looks great, but to sacrifice performance for visual quality seemed too much of a leap for this game. I like this game, but not enough to go and spend hundreds of dollars on a new graphics card. I'm no pro when it comes to computers, but if I can play Battlefield 3 on high settings and not experience FPS drops that change the gaming experience, I'm sure there is something that BIOWARE could do to appeal to the majority of online gamers out there. ---> For those that are curious on what I'm running, I have a GeForce GTS 450
  8. Why must you make this datacron such a pain in the butt to get...I mean do you seriously want to frustrate gamers? Why would you waste our time by making us wait so long for that stupid balloon which constantly glitches? SMH BIOWARE
  9. The bottom line is that the game hasn't acquired its polish yet. When WoW first came out it was nothing like it is today. Time will make this game great. I don't think it will ever get as high as big as WoW because WoW came first (as first greatly successful MMO) and set the tone for the MMO world, but I think this game will cement its place as #2 MMO.
  10. I hear they are giving people free transfers and bunching people onto servers.
  11. I liked scavenging around for datacrons and it would be cool if there were more to come

    Arena 2v2, 3v3, 5v5

i totally agree. The warzones are a big gank fest. The real test of skill would be arena matches like they have in WoW.
  13. At this point they need to do server merges because look at how low every server population is. If there are going to be server transfers, they better well be free, because I just joined resubscribed to this game after quitting for a few months only to come back to a less populated game.
