  1. When half of a WZ is consistently sawbones scoundrels I would say that would make them FotM. I'm not even talking lv 50 scoundrels who switched to sawbones (scoundrels on my server for the most part didn't switch). I'm talking about people completely rerolling to sawbones. It takes a while to get used too because scoundrels have had the lowest class population for a while now but eventually everyone should realize that sawbones is the FotM.
  2. why are people thinking sawbones are awful. Hate to break it to everyone but sawbones is FotM. I've been in a lot of WZ playing with at least 3 other sawbones and I have never seen them before. I also see a lot of operative healers. I'm guessing that too many on your server is too busy reading the forums and not enough time playing the game.
  3. The only change that I want to see in scoundrel DF is vital shot granting UH (either a percent chance of it happening or on crit every x amount of seconds). It will not make it OP and it makes perfect sense.
  4. by far my favorite moment was this sith sorc defending a point in civil war all by himself and was using consumption to pad his healing score. One shoot first and he was dead and then I captured the point. I can only imagine what that player was thinking.
  5. I really like this idea. Not only does this help immensly, it makes perfect sense lore wise. It's shocking how this isn't already the case.
  6. Elaborate please! I've found that Scrapper is a lot better for PvP and Dirty Fighting for PvE. Scrapper has a lot of burst damage which is better for PvP and DF has better sustained which is better for PvE. With DF you do have to manage energy more but with the lower cooldown on cool head makes this a lot more manageable. I've tried both of these specs and found that I did in fact contribute more in PvE with the dirty fighting spec.
  7. Alderaan is actually where it gets difficult for every class. I found that it was a rather high difficulty spike for all of my characters. As has been mentioned before, Corso fits the scoundrels playstyle a lot better than Bowdaar. I still found my tanks a little squishy so as soon as I got Risha I just let the Aggro bounce around between the two of us too mitigate damage better. Before I got Risha I had Corso and Bowdaar in their DPS stances.
  8. I've never ever seen this. Can't think of anything to do to fix it as blaster whip should automatically proc upper hand.
  9. They have. While not completely silent they will still talk less frequently than what they are doing now.
  10. The giggle is harmless! Don't remove it. It's weird though. Apparently some people think that the giggle is an emote so people think that its an insult in WZ's because they laugh when they kill a person or something. So if this is the case scoundrel's are getting hit by this because other people do not understand other classes mechanics. Hopefully bioware changes their mind about this. There are a lot of better options out there then just simply removing it. Like make it toggleable or make it so that other players have the option to not hear another players proc or something. A lot more work but it will keep everyone happy.
  11. Funny you should mention that. Have you seen the bounty hunter's headgear?
  12. /signed either keep it or make it toggleable. If other classes find it distracting then they can toggle it on/off as well. There is no reason to remove the giggle. I'm still not sure if it is the giggle they getting rid of or if it is just some other random bug sound effect that very few people actually noticed.
  13. Is the chuckle that they do or is it just some other random sound effect? Because if they are getting rid of the chuckle....
  14. for end game I would say to go without it. Realistically it would only help with a nooby group that constantly breaks cc. For your level I would go without it as well simply because you can bypass mobs with it. Currently I do have it specced but now I'm thinking those points are better spent elsewhere...
  15. This ^^ If you don't have sedatives specced then something is seriously wrong. without sedatives it does work the same way as the shadow CC.
  16. I think once you get too act 3 is when all of the conversations are available. I remember because I was annoyed as well. Had max affection during Hoth but no conversations with her. Got so annoyed I actually sent in a bug report lol. I then finished up act 2 and the convos just started rolling in.
  17. This is from Torhead Cheap Shot Instant Range: 4 m Deals a cheap shot to a vulnerable target, dealing 2197 - 2259 kinetic damage to weak and standard targets, and 1557 - 1619 kinetic damage to strong targets. Only usable on incapacitated targets. mobs have different strengths. Weak-Standard-Strong-Elite-Champion. Cheap Shot only works on the weak, standard, Strong targets with it doing less damage on strong targets. Players are regarded as elites and as such cheap shot won't work on players.
  18. Can't cheap shot players. Players are regarded as elites. Cheap shot doesn't effect elites.
  19. I would agree with that. However, how do you know that it has been decreasing? Sure this people on the forum saying they switched/unsubbed but there is a surprising amount of people who could care less about these forums and would only be motivated to post something on here if they felt strongly about something. I really don't think scoundrel numbers are decreasing. I've always been the lone scoundrel on my team.
  20. I've been trying to have an intelligent discussion but it's extremely hard with Ich_bin so stubbornly sticking to his "class balance = class population distribution" stance. I have provided many arguments about why that is not the case but he still reverts back to that stance. I guess no, Dunsparrow has not given the "f*** you Bioware". However, I have noticed this attitude frequently from him on separate occasions. I just highly disagree with the title as this is by no means an accurate or unbiased analysis and no true analysis can be done till combat logs come out. All his post was subjective. The point I was trying to make in my first post and the link i provided was to point out the two huge differences between these two threads. I have yet to see an actual response to that which was my only purpose in posting here.
  21. I find this so hilarious. Aren't you doing the EXACT same thing. The scoundrel forums have by far the whiniest/volatile theads. Have you even seen the other forums? They're leaps and bounds better then the scoundrel forums. They are presented much better. The "f*** you Bioware" attitude has been present since the start of the thread. I don't understand how you can deny that...
  22. I have no problem with some of the issues being raised. But do you really expect Bioware to respond to a thread where the attitude is "f*** you Bioware!" It's just ridiculous. If this thread was more constructive as opposed to absolutely volatile then Bioware may have responded. With the thread in this volatile state, I doubt they will respond.
  23. only really works with well coordinated teams. I think it works very well on voidstar when they think the whole team is going one side while 4 people come out of nowhere to quickly gank whoever is left defending the one side. It seems almost like a gimmick but it is a very effective gimmick if they aren't prepared for it (which they probably aren't due to low scoundrel/op population and so very little knowledge about them)
