  1. Nice analogy I've just realised the BIOkids won't ever see logic. No point trying to communicate with them any more I'm done with this thread and TBH the game, I have tried to convinced myself that I like it but I don't... and some of the reply's in this thread are all the reasons I need to give up on bioware/EA's mess.
  2. I used WoW because it is the best know MMO to compare. I loved Wow and still do, but I have played alot of different MMO's too P2P & F2P. I should have used Trion/Rift, which IMO, are the best current MMO developers. I like Rift, but I don't play that for the same reason I don't play WoW. I'm over the "Trinity system" and BG/Raid for BIS gear over and over. Rift copied the successful aspects of MMO's (Not just WoW) AND added it's own things eg. multisoul system, one man raids, rifts etc.
  3. You explain to me why people (like yourself) are basically saying it takes 6+ years for an MMO released in 2011/12 to become comparable to other MMO's in 2011/12 without using the word moron And who said we were debating? I would happily "debate" my topic with you privately if you like:rolleyes:
  4. You missed my point or maybe I didn't type it correctly. It's nothing to do with the bugs/polish. Any moron who says it should be perfect on launch obviously has no idea about how hard making an MMO is. Swtor launched at the minimum amount of polish that should be required. The content will obviously expand too more FP and WZ is a no brainer. What I was trying to say is that Swtor is missing features that WoW has had for years eg. LFD/raid tool, no elite group quests, mods, battle log. It's like Bioware ignored WoW/MMO's since 2007. It's painful the amount of what I would call "basic features an MMO should have" swtor is missing. The only real things bioware added was fully voiced (which is great) and the whole companion thing (the main reason myself and most of my friends have/will stop playing).
  5. OK, Let me get this out first. I love starwars and MMO's but I have always thought that bioware was over rated. I like aspects of Swtor eg: Story, questing, classes etc. But definitely think it is unpolished and missing key features eg. LFD/Raid, Terrible cosmetic options, dead world, stupid companion idea, no red zone launch etc. Now to the morons that keep bring up the "WoW had 7 years to get polished" argument. MMO's and technology in general were different 7 years ago. Swtor in 2004 would have been considered near perfect back then, but it isn't 2004 its 2012! This game is not competing with WoW in 2004, its competing with it in 2012. At the very least it should have had everything that is considered current content in WoW and then expanded on it. Ask yourself if this wasn't Starwars would you still be playing it? I will continue playing until GW2 comes out. But after that I hope bioware go under for what they did to this game. Flame away
