  1. Average Win Rate: First 100 games after 1.2 I went 96-4, I stopped counting after that.

    Average Run Time: ~6 mins

    Valor Rank: 89

    Queue status: 4-man only

Current Gear: WH Main/Off, 3 other pieces, all pieces augmented.

  2. PTs are a lot more up close and personal. Their Pulls (and leaps if you spec that way) can change the course of a huttball match easily.

PTs are getting a pretty big nerf in 1.2 sadly.

On the other hand, so are healing Mercs.

  3. I think he is right about backpedalling though. If you need to position yourself you can always jump and then spin the camera with your mouse so you only face backwards for a slight second.

I do this to flash grenade people without losing forward momentum. Of course with my crappy 300ping i get "not facing target" a lot.

Right, and I agree that if I'm running and want to stun someone behind me I'll jump, spin camera, fire, and spin camera right back.

What I'm saying is that if I'm overheated for whatever reason and need to build up supercharged gas while moving I need to keep firing Rapid Shots over and over. That's impossible to do while keeping forward momentum (at least as far as I can tell).

  4. [color=Yellow"

But please tell me the last time you were sponsored to play a video game.

I've been sponsored when shooting International 10M Air Rifle, but that really isn't anywhere near the same league as being sponsored to play a video game.

    TBC was 5 years ago.

Are you seriously on here bragging about stuff you did half a decade ago and using it as your claim to superiority?

  5. It is not "semantics" they are entirely different game mechanics. Also staying more than 10 yards from the objective counters it.

I do love when they all blow their trinket, then huddle up for blind so i can cap tho.

L2P. Stop nerfing the game to suit your skill level.

If they give in to you, they need to give in to lowest common denominator skillwize, and you will see PANDAS in next expansion.

Just stay 10 meters from the target?

And if you're trying to capture a neutral target?

Operative uses stealth dart on you and starts capping.

You either trinket and get a Flash Bang or don't trinket and he caps.

And in this case it really is semantics. Both are abilities that stop you from doing anything for a certain amount of time. In the context I'm describing the person who is CCed isn't taking damage so there is no difference between the two.

  6. Turn your camera with your mouse? while using strafe? which doesn't "snare" yourself?

Let me give you undeniable argument, if you have not played high level wow arena, at least watch some tournaments, or rank 1 player videos. Best players (wow) in the world. None backpedale under any circumstance.

Players that want to squeeze every little bit of performance of their class and gameplay, if there was at least 1 !! however situational moment where backpedale would be useful, don't you think we would use it ?

p.s. i played a mage and a rogue in wow , both to rank1 , and my mage in blizz tournaments as well.

Cone attacks or not, backpedale is always worse.

And if you want to continue shooting someone (whether its with friendly green bolts or angry reds ones) while getting in position for a pass or getting near the center of the pit in huttball?

  7. Does anyone else feel these should be changed to 6 or 7 seconds?

If my trinket is down from a previous fight but my resolve bar is no longer full, there is absolutely nothing stopping someone from capping a turret or door.

Now, I realize that often its people who trinket the 4 second stun and then get hit for a full 8 that are the ones losing here. If you don't know how to manage cool-downs properly that's your problem. But sometimes there really is nothing you can do.

    P.S.

As a merc I used my timed missile on operatives/smugglers if they try to pull this trick on me. I trinket the first 8 second stun and immediately fire my missile. They stun me but 4 seconds later the missile goes off and they don't get a cap. Most classes can't do this though (especially since dots no longer stop a cap).

Also, the answer "always keep two people on defense" doesn't work when you have at least half a warzone full of pugs.

  8. In regards to healing being thankless...

I just want to point out that I've probably recieved at least 50,000 valor from MVP votes alone in this game.

I usually get 2-3 a warzone on average (sometimes fewer, sometimes 7, very very rarely none).

Thats 150 per warzone. I don't feel like doing the math, but I was level 76 before the valor buff so...thats a lot of warzones.

  9. Read my post and leave quick before you get flammed by trolls

Expertise is utterly worthless in PvE

I have two full PvP and PvE gear sets.

PvE gear is worthless in PvP

    and

PvP gear is worthless in PvE

Expertise is the only thing you need to care about in PvP

    You're half right.

Expertise is quite worthless in PvE.

Some PvE gear (not a full set) can make you hit harder (though be hit harder yourself as well as receive less heals) in PvP.

You can do Hardmode Operations in BM gear easily.
