  1. Obviously this is something that people want because it would make their game palying experience more enjoyable for them. And so, obviously, Bio Ware will not introduce it into the game because it's easier to blame the outright failure of the game on a fickle player population than on what would surely be yet another failed, bug-filled, hastily planned and poorly coded last minute afterthought add-on.

I can remember another Star Wars MMO that had an entire profession dedicated to character modifications at launch.

    But I'm not bitter.

I'm not sure if we got the hair dresser right from the start in SWG? I'm mean pre NGE.

  2. Pick up free Lvl 50 recruit gear from pvp terminal.

    Do all the HM FP's

    Do all your dalies

    Get col and BH gear

    Do the Tier 2 stuff

Grab the speeder quests on the fleet, get an ops group together and kill all the world bosses.

That should keep you going for a bit.

  3. For me I went .. Recruit gear (which you have) daily and weekly's for your BH, Col gear, and do all the HM FP's. That way you get some good cash, loot, and comms on the way.

At the moment I have a mixture of Tio gear ( with some Lvl 56 mods) black hole and Columi gear. Hopefully I'll be ready for some T2 stuff real soon.

Can't really tell you much else that the other guys haven't covered, just where I'm at at the moment.

Grind them HM's and Daily's and you'll be there in no time.

  4. We had holiday celebrations in SWG. You could do some quests to get Christmas hats etc. They even put some snowballs in game so we could throw at each other!

I can't see anything happen in SWTOR though.

    I am your father... CHRISTMAS!!

  5. To each his own.Next to the story portion of the game crafting is second on my list of why I still sub.PVP is third.Besides I think I have created new swear words while REing.

    Couldn't agree more.

I just gather Durasteel and Zal, you can make some good money on these. I send my companions out to gather these as well. Dura prices seem to go up then drop right down, Zal alloy seems to hold its price.

    Click, Gather, Sell.. Easy

  6. I think i see what you mean. Did you play SWG? I was TKM/Master doc, 2 roles for the price of one. I could still go out and DPS but at the same time I could buff players up before we head out on a raid (if I had my doc stuff on me)

You could never buff people inside a dungeon though.

They were two of the top classes before NGE.

  7. Whatever road you take it's worth getting to light side or dark side V you get to purchase a few pressies on the way, and you can purchase the speeder at the end. Although, by that time you'll own around 7 rides anyway, if your a shopaholic like me:rolleyes:
  8. Indeed. When you ding 50 recruit gear will be the best gear you'll have and it's free so why not get it.

Note: Xapor, you do know that Black Hole is better than Columi right?

Yeah I know. I only have a BH belt. When I manage to get enough BH comms I'll replace the Columi gear. Im not planning on doing any T2 stuff yet so no rush.

  9. The best way to start hard mode flash points is grab the mission which drops the FREE recruit gear (I forget what it's called now) Just click the pvp terminal, then re-click to complete it. Head over to your pvp vender (obviously depending on your class) and collect your shiny new Lvl 50 blue recruit gear, MK 2. From there you should be OK to do most, if not all the hard mode flash points.

From there you can gear up through boss drops, weekly, and dailys.

I picked up my first bit of Col gear just today :) the rest of my gear is Black Hole and TIo gear, bit of a mix bag really. It'll do until I get my full set of Col gear.

    See you in there ;)

  10. I don't have a guild, so i don't have the added pressure of having to be in game all the time. I done the whole guild thing in SWG, WoW, EQ, Just thought it was time for a bit of me time.

Don't get me wrong i love to group, but i just don't have the time for a guild. Being on my own never takes the fun out of the game.

Have fun whatever you do :)

  11. Still enjoying the game and I've been here from lift off! I'm giving some love to my commando 50 at the moment, just enjoying running some HM FP's.

There's always plenty to do, even at level 50. I just switch between alts and try and give some love to them all.

The game only gets boring when you powergrind through it, and then complain there isn't nothing to do!

I'm sure all the doom Sayers will have something to say about it, they have a crystal ball you know, it sees right into the future
